Chapter 5

I'll try to put the initial of the person talking on the phone. Ex. J-"=Jimin

Unless you guys were okay with how it was before with just tia and y/n talking.

You squint your eyes open. Looking at the alarm clock beside your bed.

"Really.. 8 minutes before my stupid alarm is gonna wake me.. Thats 8 more minutes of dreaming"

You roll over to your left expecting to get half asleep but to your disappointment your phone starts vibrating.

Y-"I swear to god Tia.. School doesn't start for another hour and a half!" You say kind of grumpy as you answer.

?-"Well as much as i would love to see you in just an hour and a half i dont think I can. Im in Korea" the person on the other side replies. You jerk your phone away and notice it was Jimin who had called.

Y-"Oh um.. Jimin?" You ask just in case.

He laughs

J-"Who the hell else would I let use my phone to call you?"

Y-"good point. But why the hell are you calling me when I have to be waking up for school soon? Shouldn't you be going to bed?"

J-"well I wanted to actually TALK to you. Not just texting. Besides. If I hear your voice maybe I can try to come up with what you look like."

Y-"yeah well good luck with that. and thanks. Now I have three minutes till my damn alarm tells me to get ready for school"

J-"aw. Im so sorry. (He laughs) anyway. I just left my friends and taehyung said thanks for calling him TEAhyung."

Y-"oh my god.. Did you tell him? its not like i ment to call him that."

J-"he went through my phone after I apparently kept talking about this 'hot goldfish chick' i mistook for him."

You cover your face with your hand.

Y-"oh my god. Hot goldfish chick? Really?" Your alarm starts to go off so you reach over hitting it to snooze.

J-"yeah. Their having a great laugh about It tho so.. Yay me? I think? (He laughs)"

Y-(you smile hearing his laugh. "Hey Jimin I hate to cut this short. But i gotta get ready for school now."

J-"oh, yeah right. No go ahead. but I gotta tell you. Um.. I might be texting you eariler than usual. Im going on a trip"

Y-"wait did you call just to rub it in my face? Rude."

J-"no not to brag. But warning you that I expect you to answer my messages Missy. Ill be waiting."

You stared at the phone with your mouth open. Wait was he serious? Whatever. That punk can wait till I message him on my own time. You get up from bed grabbing some cloths from your closet. Going to your bathroom to start getting ready for your day.

Your walking up to school when you see Tia getting out of her car waving at you. You stop and wait for her to catch up.

T-"so.. You didnt text me friday night cuz of some strange guy. Then you find out hes kinda cute? But tell him NOT to flirt with you? Its the most action you've gotten in like.. A year!" She laughs while entertwining her arm with yours.

Y-"what? Thats not true. Im just picky." you laugh.

Y-"but he did call me this morning. He told me he's going on a trip and expects me to reply to him when he messaged? Then he hung up. Like really?"

Tia stops walking looking at you with her mouth slightly open.

T-"y/n I think this guy is getting a little.. Daring with you. Ooo maybe he actually likes you"

Y-"he hasn't even gotten a picture of me. I could be someone he's totally not interested in. Besides. It wouldnt matter. i dont do distance relationships. If i want one ill find a guy here"

T-"you never know till you trryyy. Now let's get to our classes before were late"

Chapter 4

*buzz, buzz, buzz, buzz*

You slowly open your eyes awaiting light to hit your eyes. You open your right eye all the way expecting to be blinded by sunlight, only to realise the only light coming into your room is the light from your phone screen. Your growl rolling over grabbing your phone from your night stand, expecting to have only fallen asleep for a couple of hours. Only to realize its actually 5am of sunday morning.

"SUNDAY!" You sit up staring at your phone not believing you slept not only friday night, but also literally all through saturday.

"I guess i really did go into a coma.." You notice you have missed calls and messages from your best friend Tia and also Jimin.

"Guess I gotta let Tia know im not dead" you laugh as you pick up your phone bringing it with you to the restroom.

Y/n--<hey Tia. Best friend ol buddy ol pal, I very highly doubt you're awake this beautiful sunday morning at 5:15am. But I'm just letting you know I'm not dead. Just woke up from my sleep coma. Yay celebrate! Message me later k?>

You decide to read some of the messages Jimin also sent. One said good morning y/n and the rest were him asking about how your saturday was going. And also asking if you were ignoring him or blocked him. Another asked if Honey really did get jealous and take your phone. You laugh at this and decide you should let the cute stranger know your alive.

Y/n--<look Jimin. It was fun talking. But Honey said I cant talk to you anymore. Sorry. Goldfish rules.>

You put your phone down not expecting a message any time soon, but sure enough just as you start to pour a bowl of delicious, home made Gordon Ramsey approved cereal, your phone signals you've gotten a message. You finish putting the frosted flakes and milk into your bowl and sitting down at your small table before looking at your message.

Jimin--<well damn. If its goldfish rules then i guess we cant talk again. 😛>

You snicker a little reading this and started eating while messaging him.

Y/n--<well i guess i can always hide away and message you? He wont notice anyway😝>

Jimin--<oh thank god. Id hate to have to stop talking to someone who gets my poor sense of humor>

Y/n--<by saying it like that tho, arnt you saying that I also have a poor sense of humor? And here i thought I had made a new friend. Guess not>

Jimin--<😱 you would take what I said and turn it around.>

You laugh and put your bowl in the sink. Walking to your couch and turning on your tv. Noticing the time is roughly about 6am.

Y/n--<wait why the hell are you awake at 6 am? Only reason i am is cuz I slept all day and night yesterday.>

Jimin--<did you forget I said I live in Korea? 🙄. Our time zones are different. So about the times you wake up ill be getting ready for bed. And by the time you go to sleep ill be getting up>

Y/n--<aw. Yet here you are. Talking to little ol me😍>

Jimin--<aw sweetheart ill always make time for you. 😘>

Jimin--<as long as your "Honey" doesn't catch us>

Y/n--<omg. Okay. No more fake flirting.>

Jimin--<hey! Who said I was faking!? 😚>

Y/n--<😐>

Jimin--<alright, alright. Ill stop. For you.>

Y/n--<Oh thank you, almighty Jimin>

Jimin--<I could get used to you praising me 😏>

Y/n--<🙄 thought you were done?>

Jimin--<im done now I promise. Couldn't help but take that opening tho. 😉>

Y/n--<excuse me. Im gonna go say a prayer for your soul>

Jimin--<YAHH i said i was done now. Anyway.. how was your.. Sleep coma? I didnt hear from you at all yesterday and kept checking my phone, so my friends were making fun of me. 😒 I was not amused.>

Y/n--<aww did little jiminie miss me yesterday?>

Jimin--<jiminie? Giving me nicknames already sweetness? 😏>

Y/n--<call me sweetness again and youll have a better nickname. Called BLOCKED BICH>

Jimin--<nuu. Im done. I'm sorry.>

Y/n--<much better. But yeah. I slept all friday night and literally all of saturday. Guess I really needed it.>

Jimin--<you're probably over working yourself on school work. I'm sure you deserved the sleep>

Y/n--<its honestly my fault. i can't decide what to major in so im taking two things at the same time. Just in case I need a fall back. But to be honest? Talking to you, A complete stranger, is.. Idk kind of relaxing?>

Jimin--<yeah. I know what you mean. There's quite a bit going on here. And having a stranger that doesnt know about me or my life is nice to talk to>

Y/n--<omg.. Are you like . a serial killer?>

Jimin--< what!? No! Just.. life can be complicated you know?>

Y/n--<hehe. I know. just like messing with ya>

Jimin--<Hey umm.. Im gonna go to sleep. Maybe.. Talk again later?>

Y/n--<um. Yeah. That'd be nice. Goodnight Jimin.>

Jimin--< Good morning Y/n>

By the time you finished texting with Jimin you realized you were getting tired again. You laid on the couch and decided a quick nap will do.

You wake up to the sound of your phone ringing.

"Hello?"

"Jesus y/n, I've called you three times now. Did you manage to go back to sleep?"

"Tia its not my fault okay? I was tired again." you pulled your phone away from your face to check the time.

"Wow its 11'o clock? Didnt mean to sleep that long. Sorry Tia."

"Its okay. You needed sleep anyway. I was just calling to check on you. You didn't even message me friday night to say goodnight! I was so depressed."

You laugh over the phone with her.

"Um, yeah. Tia.. About friday.. You.. Remember that unknown number that called me during lunch?"

Jimin---<omg.. DID YOU TURN INTO A GOLDFISH TO BE WITH HONEY! AM I THAT UNATTRACTIVE TO YOU! 😭>

Y/N---<omg. You idiot. i was making myself some dinner. Jesus. Calm down a bit will ya? And no. You are attractive so i didn't run to be with honey.😝>

Jimin---<wait... You think im attractive?😉>

Y/n---<boi.. Oml. anyway. Im going to finish my wonderful mac n cheese dinner then go to bed so.. Um..bye i guess Jimin? Its been nice talking to you today.>

Jimin---<um hey wait. Your pretty cool to talk to and we seem to get along. You wouldn't mind if I kept messaging you.. Would you?>

Y/n---<actually.. I think I'd be fine with that Jimin. You seem pretty cool, so. Why not? I gotta go but.. Talk to you soon?>

Jimin---<thatd be nice y/n. Ill um.. Text you tomorrow then. Good night.>

You stared at the message feeling something in your chest and stomach. 'Its probably just hunger. He was cute. But nah.' You finish your last few bites of food and throw your bowl in the trash. You head to the bathroom after putting your phone on the charger by your bed. While taking a long relaxing hot shower you couldnt help but think of Jimin. Then start laughing at the pic you sent of "you". after getting out you put on your f/c night shorts and a t-shirt. You say goodnight to honey and make sure all doors and windows are locked. You go back to your bed and as soon as your head hits the pillow you welcome your well deserved sleep coma

You laugh as you read his message.

Y/n---<yeah. Pretty sure none of my family has ever left america. Sorry.>

You begin to laugh so hard you had to bend over and hold your stomach. You put your phone on the table in front of the couch and went to make yourself a cup of mac n cheese for dinner. 'Hey collage am I right?'

It only takes you about 5 minutes after throwing it in the microwave and using the restroom to get back to your phone. You pick it up and see you have multiple messages from Jimin.

Jimin---<omg im so sorry. I got that picture and wasn't expecting that so i.. Kinda fell on the floor laughing.>

<> opening and ending of texting messages. (Im sorry im so confusing. 😥)

You pull out your phone seeing you had 8 missed calls from the same unknown number. You decide to text it to make sure its not an emergency from someone.

Y/n---<Um.. You called me like 9 times in 5 minutes.. Who is this?>

?---<why the hell won't you answer your phone! This is important Tae. I don't have time for your games>

Y/n---<excuse you? Im not this Tea you speak of>

?---<god damn it, TAEHYUNG I DONT HAVE TIME. THIS IS IMPORTANT! ANSWER THE FUCKING PHONE>

Y/n---<listen here asshole. You are NOT going to text yell at me. Im not taehyung. I think you have the wrong number!>

You saw this person had read the message but they never replied so you put your phone away.

"Oh my god I love my mother but sometimes I swear she can just talk and talk and talk and talk and ta--"

"Yeah Tia I get it. Your mom sure knows how to talk" you both laugh as she sits back beside you.

"You okay? You look kinda.. Pissed off all of a sudden."

"Its this unknown number. it called me like.. 9 times in 5 minutes and when I texted it the person text yelled at me. So.."

"Let me guess.. Y/n being y/n text yelled back at them?" you glared at her as she laughed holding her stomach.

"What? Iv known you for a while now y/n. I know you too well"

"Yeah well..shut up." You smiled as you ate your lunch in peace and quiet.

The rest of that school day went as usual. Classes with kids trying to stay awake during a boring lecture about stuff that's gonna be on the exam at the end of the semester. You were beyond excited to get home that day and get a weekend of actual relaxation instead of having your head shoved into books.

As you walked out of school and towards the street you saw Tia and waved goodbye.

"just 15 minutes and ill be home" you said to yourself as you walked across the busy street and towards your small apartment complex full of collage kids.

You pulled out your phone as you walked on the sidewalk and saw you had a message from the unknown number.

?---<hey um look.. About earlier. Im really sorry about how I sounded. It was an emergency and my friend tae got a new phone and I guess i mixed up a number or two and I got you instead. Im really sorry.> You smiled as you read the message again and decided to message back.

Y/n---<hey look its okay. Im sorry for yelling too. I just got kind if angry. Perks of a collage kid I guess. Lol?>

You put your phone away as you walk up to your apartments.

'Thank god i don't live upstairs' you think as you pull your keys out and unlock the door.

"Honey im hoome!" You yell as you walk in, as if expecting your little gold fish to say "hi welcome back!" You walk by the small tank and put in a few flakes of food. You toss your bag off your shoulders and kick your shoes off throwing yourself onto your couch. You pull out your phone seeing you have a message.

?---<collage kid? Thank god you arnt some angry parent. Lol. Idk what id do if some buffed up dad read my eariler messages😁> You laugh at his lame joke but decided to keep talking to him.

Y/n---<and what makes you think im not some buffed up collage jock?>

?---<well in that case, my name is Taehyung. Im roughly 5' 10' and have brown hair. Ya know. In case you see me out on the street and wanna kick my ass?> You laugh harder at this.

Y/n--<yo, you gonna throw your friends out to get beat? Thats harsh bro. But no im not a buffed up collage jock. Im a girl, and speaking of your friend. Is his name really teahyung?>

?---<LMFAO no! Not tEAhyung. TAEhyung. Where the hell are you from. I mean.. Whats your name?>

You stared at the message for a good three minutes. You dont feel comfortable giving out your name to a stranger.

?---<um look. That might have been coming off as too strong. But if you give me your name I'll give you mine? I live in Korea, and you dont seem to be korean from your voice mail I heard so. Its not like i can hunt you down right?> you sighed and thought 'well thats kinda true.

Hell.. Why not do something not so boring for once.

Chapter 1

Yl/n=your last name.

Everything's black. You heard muffled noises in the background. Talking..maybe, and, footsteps? You're not sure what's going on. Everything's still black and its gone quiet.

"Ahem.."

"AHEM.."

You feel your arm get pushed out from under your head and your forehead hits your desk. You jump up into your seat and look around as the class stares at you.

"I understand collage is taking its toll on everyone with all the exams

Ms.y l/n, but for the sake of your grade in my class I hope you stay awake." Your teacher walked away and back to the front of the room. You turned to look at your friend Tia and glared as she tried to hold back her laugh.

You lean slightly over towards her and whisper "ya know, you could have woken me up and idk.. Maybe warned me the witch was coming?" She winks and holds up her finger, signaling the bell ringing for lunch. You both gather your papers and stuff them in your not so organised backpack.

"It's not my fault you fell asleep cuz you were up all night" She says as she slips her bag over her shoulder, pulling her long blond hair out of the way.

"Yeah well i had to study for that stupid math test we had first freaking thing this morning." You sigh. "Lets just go get some food. I'll feel a million times better then."

As you walk to the cafeteria (where the cheapest food on campus was) your phone starts to vibrate in your pocket. You pull it out and see you're getting a call from an unknown number. You press ignore and continue onto lunch.

"I can't wait for this day to be over. Y/n are you sure you don't wanna come? My parents wouldn't mind i swear."

"No thanks, this is my first weekend where i wont have to study for a damn test so im gonna go into a nice looong two day coma. Ill miss you though." You laugh as you pick up a tray with two slices of pizza. You grab a bottle of water and an apple, gotta stay healthy right? HA

"Tia let's sit outside today. Its not too sunny and I need the vitamins from the sun rays at least once a month to survive." She laughs at you and calls you and idiot as you walk outside to a small bench under a tree.

"You know y/n you need to get out more. I know you're worried about your grades and you want to be prepared just in case you wanna be a vet but.. I mean.. Come on.. You can't live your life with just me and animals." Tia giggles at the end.

"Oh yeah? Watch me. All i need is you and-" Tia's phone begins to ring interrupting you.

"Its my parents, ill just be a minute I promise" she says as she walks away to talk to them. You decide to pull out your phone and notice you have 8 more missed calls from the same unknown number that called earlier. You decide you should text them just to make sure it wasn't an emergency from someone you may have not saved to your phone. (Woops?)
