Something I've noticed is that in fictional settings, a character being completely iredeemable and ignoring someone's consent is completely okay...unless sex is involved. The second a character is a pedophile or rapist, then anyone who likes said character is completely disgusting and fucked up and gross. But a character is a stalker? Well that's fine because "90% of stalkers are uwu shy baby boys that need protection".
