Jin knew that the others gave William a wide berth since he often came off as cold toward the people behind him but Jin always found him fascinating. He found that William was always easy to talk to and often confided in him because the other man never judged him. He was one of the few people he had let see his true self outside of Elijah, Kol, his cousin and the other escorts. He considered William to be a good friend even if the others were too intimidated to get to know him. If only they knew how kind he could actually be outside of his gruff exterior. "So he's told me." Jin smirks as he downs his drink and pours himself another glass. He sets the glass down, running his finger around the rim. "It's strange. I've never felt comfortable being myself outside of the Mikaelsons or the other escorts or you but you're all familiar, you're all family. With Cassius it's just natural, it all feels natural, since the second I met him. Yeah, I feel like I can be myself around him." He says with a small smile on his friend's direction as he lifts the glass once again and takes a sip. "I wouldn't say slow slow." Jin chuckles "More like at a different pace than I usually take with people because I don't want to mess it up. I don't want him to run." He says biting his bottom lip before humming "Yeah, I probably should so he knows where I stand and I know where he stands."

At Marcel's

Jin grins back at the warlock. "I would wear it proudly." He says before humming as he wraps his arms around the other man "And I can't wait to learn everything I can about you. I'll admit I've never been drawn to someone like I have you. It's a bit terrifying but exciting at the same time." He admits, never having really admitted that to anyone before. It felt natural to do so though, everything about being around the warlock felt natural and he couldn't wait to find out why he felt that way. "According to Jeno nothing has happened yet, he and someone named Jonna are just setting up but he said others are starting to arrive to help. I can wait to go for a few hours." He says "I'm all yours, do with me as you wish." He purrs , pecking his lips.

Jin smirked back at the warlock. “Maybe I’ll wear one just for you then.” He says with a flirtatious flutter of his lashes, hearing the skip in the other man’s heartbeat when he did it. It pleased him that he had such an effect on him. “I’ll always be myself about you.” He says before a bright grin spread across his face. “Good to know the feeling is reciprocated.” He says and as he kissed the other man he didn’t want to pull back but he knew he needed to. “Wow.” He says, eyes hooded as he chased the taste by licking his lips. “Definitely coming back to you so we can do more of that.” He purrs.

“I’d like that,” he replied, watching the flutter of his lashes again, “Maybe I’ll get you one,” he smirked back at him. Cassius felt honoured that he felt like that, that he knew he could always be himself around him, “I look forward to getting to know the real you fully,” it was the truth too. The kiss felt like someone had injected him with espresso, like it jolted him awake. When the vampire pulled away he found his body wanted to follow him but he forced himself to stay put. Opening his eyes he watched Jin lick his lips and found himself doing the same. “Definitely,” he agreed. “Do you have to go right now?”

Jin hums softly with a small smile. “Is it bad to say that I like someone taking care of me instead of the other way around?” He says in a small voice “I’m expected to be a certain type of escort because I’m more on the masculine side but with you…well with you, you let me be the princess I really am and aren’t afraid to set me straight when I get stuck in my feelings. I like that about you.” He says honestly. Jin would be blushing if he could at the look Cassius gave him after the kiss, the way the warlock’s eyes travelled to his lips made him want to kiss him again. And man did he want to kiss him again and never stop. The corner of his mouth was not nearly enough to quench the desire he had for the other man. He wanted more but he also wanted to take his time with the warlock, a first for Jin. “So you like me huh?” Jin smiles, fluttering his lashes teasingly “I’ll come back to you, I promise, but I know you’ll come find me if I don’t.” He says before looking at his lips again “I’m gonna kiss you now.” He breaths out before kissing him, this time full on as a hand rests on the side of his neck.

Cassius eyed the vampire with interest, “Not at all,” he commented before the other man continued. He was surprised by the confession but under that he found that he was pleased by it. Sure he had a tendency to be a bit roughish but there had always been that desire to look out for people, to take care of them. A lot of the time he ignored it but he’d felt it growing stronger around Jin. “You would look in a crown,” he mused absentmindedly, the words about him being a princess getting stuck in his mind. He had always liked princesses. Cassius cleared his head and added, “I’m glad you feel you can be yourself around me,”  he really meant it too, was happy to know that he’d get to know who the vampire truly was.  A smile tugged at the corner of his lips, “I’d say that’s a safe assumption to make,” he definitely did like Jin. As if to confirm it to himself the muscles in his chest tightened in response to the flutter of the other mans lashes. Oh he was definitely going to cause him trouble. The second Jin announced he was going to kiss him, Cassius didn’t bother replying. His eyes dipped again to his lips just before they met his own. Then he was closing his eyes, drinking in the kiss and pulling Jin onto his lap.

“I have no plans of going anywhere as long as you want me around.” Jin replies, the look in his eyes sincere before he nods. “That’s very true. Thank you for that. For getting me off of my pity party.” He says and listens to what the warlock has to say. Jin hesitates for a moment before leaning forward and taking a chance, kissing the corner of the other man’s mouth before adding “I want to see what this is because I really like you. I don’t want to die before I find out. I’ll come back to you.”

Another smirk tugged at the warlocks lips, though this one looked a lot more like an actual smile. “I like the sound of that,” he replied, his gaze caught on the look of sincerity in the vampires eyes. “Glad to be of service. Really it’s the only kind of party I will ever break up, I do hate a pity party,” The kiss took him by surprise and he stilled, turning his gaze to Jins again. His lose, relaxed posture quickly returned but his gaze dipped briefly to the lips whose kiss he could still feel the ghost of on his skin. “I’m glad we agree,” he replied, wanting the same thing, “And if you don’t come back to me you can bet your arse I’ll come and find you,”

"So a smart criminal, even sexier." Jin chuckles before humming "Honestly, I never really liked anyone before. Not as more than a passing lay or as a friend. It's an entirely new feeling but I can't say I don't like it."

“I never really thought about it like that.” Jin says with a hum “That actually makes alot of sense. And you’re right, I’m still me just have to drink blood now to survive instead of eat regular food but it is what it is.” He muses before looking back at the warlock “You’re right. The vampires are on standby right now but maybe I can offer a hand with the healers. It probably wouldn’t hurt to have some vampire blood available for it’s healing properties.”

“Stick around and you’ll learn I’m quite often right about things,” he gave him a slight smirk. “Exactly, it is what it is and what you eat isn’t going to have changed who you are,” Cassius agreed, looking back at the vampire. “There we go, a solution. Though don’t go draining yourself dry for them no matter how much you want to help. You can’t do that to me just as we’re getting to know each other,”

“They are and he will have Magnus and Mason with him, I trust them with my cousin. I just hope that there aren’t too many casualties in this upcoming fight.” Jin sighs as he looks to the man who he had come to take quite the liking to “It’s times like these I miss my magic, hate being a vampire, hate not being able to help. As much as I’ve come to accept this life and even find joy in it, there’s still that void where my magic used to be you know? Like a big part of me is missing.”

Cassius nodded. He couldn’t imagine losing his magic, couldn’t imagine who he’d be without it. Leaning back in his chair he put his feet up on the empty chair across from him. “You traded one sort of power for another,” he shrugged, “You’re still you, still perfectly complete. Who says you need warlock magic to help?”

Jin hummed with a nod of his head. "That's him." He says before laughing "Aren't we all around here though? I mean come on, William, I'm an escort. Not exactly a legal profession so who am I to judge? I like the way he makes me feel when he's around so it doesn't bother me he's got a wrap sheet." He grinned.

Jin runs his finger around the rim of his glass. "His name is Cassius. We met at David and Magnus's wedding and have run into each other a few times since then." He says with a somewhat fond smile.

"Better to drown it in booze than keep worrying myself sick and honestly I'm not in the mood to entertain downstairs." Jin shrugged. "Though if a certain warlock decides to show up, he might make for a better distraction. I like him."
