🚽 CHAPTER 64 OMAKE 🚽

It started, as all things in this godforsaken house did, with Naruto shouting.

“I DIDN’T DO IT!”

That was the first sound Genma heard upon opening his eyes. Not birdsong, not the hum of cicadas outside the Uchiha home’s windows—no. He awoke to Naruto screaming bloody denial at 6:03 AM, already mid-argument with Sasuke about whose ass had broken the plumbing.

In hindsight, they should have prepared for this inevitability and made a preventative store run for prunes or bran or literally anything fibrous. But alas.

The past three days had been a whirlwind of dietary recklessness. Yakisoba, yakitori, Takoyaki Tuesday (a tradition Naruto invented on Monday), okonomiyaki, and one deeply regretted all-you-can-eat yakiniku dinner. The common theme? Yaki. AKA—fried, greasy, and gut-destroying.

And the saddest part?

They had tried.

Every night for the first three days, they tried to cook decent meals. Raido had even bought a healthy recipe book. Grilled chicken, veggies, rice, and some kind of ambitious tofu thing that made Naruto cry. Balanced, respectable meals.

But on night four?

They gave up.

That was the night they “went out just this once” to give themselves a break—and came home covered in blood and beer from a bar fight that landed all three of them suspended from duty. Since then? No more cooking. No more structure. They had wholly embraced the couch potato lifestyle with religious fervor.

They had become gods of sloth and gluttony.

Which is to say: the plumbing system had failed. The one toilet in the house, bravely enduring three days of dietary war crimes, finally surrendered this morning.

Genma, still in his blanket burrito on the living room floor, groaned and pulled a cushion over his face. “No. No no no. Not today. Please, not today.”

He heard footsteps scampering up to his futon.

“GENMAAAAAAA!!!” Naruto’s voice, shrill and demanding, pierced straight through the cushion. “THE TOILET’S DEAD!!”

“Someone killed it,” Sasuke added pointedly. Accusingly.

“I DIDN’T KILL IT! It was like that when I got there!”

Genma groaned louder and flung the pillow across the room. “Why,” he muttered hoarsely, “would you come to me with this information? What do you want me to do—perform CPR on it?”

“Fix it,” Sasuke snapped.

Genma narrowed his eyes. “Do I look like a plumber?”

“I BELIEVE IN YOU,” Naruto yelled supportively, already tugging on his sleeve like an eager apprentice.

“Go wake up Raido,” Genma croaked. “Or Tenzō. Or the Hokage. I don’t care. Let him know the Uchiha compound has fallen.”

📸 CHAPTER 61 OMAKE 📸

Genma was a man of many hobbies.

Gambling, drinking, women—he was, in all regards, a well-rounded degenerate.

Photography, though? Photography had never been his thing.

But there was actually no fucking way he was trusting some random-ass photo developer with these pictures. So, he took matters into his own hands.

His apartment. Some supplies. A makeshift darkroom. Easy.

Setting everything up, he got to work, whistling to himself as he developed the film, waiting for his filthy little treasures to come to life. But as the first images started appearing, he… noticed something else.

Undeveloped film from, if Genma had to guess, around six months ago—back when the camera still was in Kakashi’s possession.

At first, he didn’t think much of it. Just a few extra shots left on the roll. Probably random village snapshots, maybe something stupid, like Kakashi’s ninken mid-poop or dressed up in little winter sweaters or some shit.

But they weren’t.

They were of her.

Genma paused.

Slowly, carefully, he developed the older photos, watching as Kiya’s face materialized on the paper.

One shot. Then another. Then another.

And the more he saw, the more he realized that these weren’t just casual snapshots. These weren’t taken on a whim. This was… something else.

Kiya wasn’t even posed—wasn’t even looking at the camera in most of them. She probably had no idea these even existed.

One photo showed her at the riverbank, staring out at the water, arms wrapped around her legs.

Another.

Kiya again. This time, in the aisle of a grocery store, an opened carton of eggs in her hands as she examined them for cracks.

Another.

Kiya, sitting at a food stall, one elbow propped on the surface, lips parted in laughter.

Another.

Kiya, leaning over the railing of a bridge, her reflection in the water rippling.

Another.

Kiya, standing beneath the trees near the Uchiha training grounds, bathed in golden light.

And then—

Another.

This one was different. She was sleeping. Not in a weird, creepy, “breathing over your bed at 3 AM” way, but in a much softer way.

She had fallen asleep outside on the rear engawa, napping in the mid-afternoon sun with her cats curled around her. The way the light hit her—soft, golden, painting the contours of her face—it looked like something out of a dream.

Genma exhaled slowly.

These were Kakashi’s photos. And they were the most delicate, intimate, painfully admiring shots he’d ever seen.

Interesting.

He paused for a moment longer, before looking back over at his own photos—Kiya, arched, pussy glistening, his cum dripping down her ass, his senbon resting in her mouth.

A grin spread across Genma’s face. Call him biased, but he preferred his own artwork. And at least he didn’t have to sneak around like some stalker to take these.

🏚️ CHAPTER 59 OMAKE 🏚️

Kakashi stood in his living room, staring down at the unopened letter in his hands. He had recognized Kiya’s handwriting the moment he saw it tucked under his door earlier that morning. It was much messier than it usually was, like she’d been in a rush—or angry—when she wrote it.

His first instinct had been to throw it away without even reading it. He probably should have. Kakashi sighed, running a hand through his unruly silver hair.

His fingers hovered over the paper for a moment more before finally ripping it open. His lone eye scanned the page, and his eyebrow began twitching as he read:

TALK TO ME, YOU ASSHOLE!!

That was it. In huge, bold letters. Nothing else. No explanation, no heartfelt confession—just those words, loud and clear, like she was shouting at him through the paper.

For a long moment, Kakashi simply stared at the letter, utterly baffled. Then, to his surprise, the corner of his mouth twitched upward, a small, almost involuntary smirk forming.

It was so Kiya, so blunt and impatient.

He should be annoyed. He was annoyed. She wouldn’t leave him alone, despite his best efforts to cut her off, to make it clear that there was nothing more to say. He had done his job, protected her, and even helped her rebuild her life in Konoha. That was all. Nothing more.

And yet… part of him found Kiya’s persistence… frustratingly endearing.

No one else in his life was this determined to be a part of it. Well, except for Gai, but Gai wasn’t a cute girl.

Huh?

His small smile quickly faded, replaced by the familiar weight of everything that had driven him to push her away in the first place. The casual way that thought had slipped into his mind just proved why he couldn’t indulge this behavior from her.

This wasn’t about her looks, or how she made him feel slightly more important than he liked to admit. This was about boundaries, and Kiya had stomped right over them—again.

It had to stop.

Before he could change his mind, Kakashi roughly balled up the paper and carried it outside. He made his way toward the dumpster in the alley behind his building, the letter clutched loosely in his hand.

He tossed it on top of the mountain of garbage bags, giving it one last glance before walking away.

She’d see it there if she came looking. With any luck, it’d hurt her feelings badly enough that this time, she’d get the message and give up. He imagined Kiya stumbling upon the crumpled letter, her hopeful steps slowing as she neared the dumpster and saw her letter carelessly discarded.

He could almost see it in painful detail—the way her eyes would become glossy, her shoulders slumping at the blatant rejection.

The thought of it twisted something in Kakashi’s chest. He really was an asshole, wasn’t he?

Still, he didn’t turn back.

🌱🌱 CHAPTER 56 OMAKE 🌱🌱

Sarutobi Hiruzen sat behind his desk with a stern expression as he addressed the three shinobi standing before him–Namiashi Raido, Tatami Iwashi, and Shiranui Genma. Ideally, he had wanted someone else to take the job, someone who was well-acquainted with Uchiha Kiya already… but alas, his first pick had declined.

“Gentlemen,” Hiruzen began, folding his hands and leaning forward slightly, “I’m sure you’ve heard the news that there was an attempt on Uchiha Kiya’s life. Until we’ve apprehended the person behind this, you three will be personally responsible for her protection starting tomorrow. Raido, you’ll take the first shift. Iwashi, you’re on the second day. And Genma, you’re on the third.”

Raido nodded solemnly, his brow set in complete focus. Iwashi maintained his usual stern expression, though he perhaps looked a bit… constipated all of the sudden? Genma’s face gave nothing away, the only movement coming from the trademark senbon that twitched between his lips.

“I’m sure I do not need to inform you three that this is a matter of the utmost importance. As the interim clan head and as one of the two remaining Uchiha left within Konoha, her safety is paramount. Is this understood?”

“Understood, Hokage-sama,” All three chorused in unison, though their tones were varied–Raido’s earnest, Iwashi’s strained, and Genma’s indifferent.

Hiruzen’s sharp gaze swept over the trio, lingering on one individual in particular. The Hokage seemed to hesitate for a moment before leaning back in his chair and clearing his throat. “There is… one more thing I need to address. I expect you all to carry out your duties professionally–Kiya’s well-being is your top priority. This means no unnecessary interactions, no distractions, and above all, no… fraternizing. Any personal indiscretions would be highly inappropriate.”

Raido and Iwashi exchanged glances, clearly understanding the subtext. On the far right, Genma’s senbon froze in place mid-twitch, his blank face faltering. His eyebrows furrowed together, an indignant look making its way onto his features.

“Of course, Hokage-sama,” Raido said dutifully, shooting Genma a look from the corner of his eye. “We would never compromise the mission in such a way.”

Iwashi nodded in agreement, adding, “Yes, professionalism is our top priority.”

The Hokage’s eyes shifted to Genma, his expression growing slightly more pointed. “And that includes you, Genma.”

Genma's indignant look deepened, but he gave a nonchalant shrug, his senbon rolling to the other side of his mouth. “Hokage-sama, I assure you, I have no intentions of fraternizing with Uchiha Kiya.”

Hiruzen’s eyes bore into Genma’s, his voice low and stern. “Very well. Dismissed.”

With that, the briefing was over. The three shinobi turned to leave, Raido and Iwashi walking with purpose while Genma sauntered behind, still twirling his senbon. They continued walking in silence for a few moments before Raido spoke up. “So, what do you guys think of her? Uchiha Kiya, I mean. I’ve only ever seen her in passing.”

Iwashi frowned slightly, a flash of disdain appearing on his face. “She’s an Uchiha. That alone makes this mission… complicated.”

At Genma’s continued silence, the two pairs of eyes belonging to his comrades turned to him. Rolling his eyes, Genma shrugged. “I don’t know her, and I’m not planning on getting to know her, either. It’s just a babysitting mission for some spoiled clan kid. Should be easy enough.”

Raido gave Genma a skeptical look, raising an eyebrow. “I don’t know. She’s been through a lot, from what I’ve heard.”

“Haven’t we all?” Genma muttered, voice carrying a hint of bitterness. “Now come on, we’ve got patrols to do.”
