INT. A RECORDING STUDIO — NIGHTTIME, 11:11 PM.
With her schedule now fully devoted to comeback promotions, JISEUL takes a moment after recording her vocals takes to listen to Ladybug’s newest title, Wind Flower. When she first heard it, she felt an immediate connection to the lyrics and adored the work that the others put into it. For the first time in awhile, she feels inspired by music again, and it’s a good reminder to her why being an idol is so lovely sometimes, despite its faults; despite her trials and tribulations with fame.
It’s honestly been ages since she sat in a recording studio—the machinery, the dark lighting, the vibes; all of it felt so familiar, but so foreign all at once. Being that Ladybug’s been on a ( far too long ) hiatus over the last few years, Jiseul was beginning to forget that, above all else, she’s an idol, and that despite slowly making a name for herself in the variety and drama circles, she’s a member of a girl group first. Ever since her career was kickstarted after being street cast, she’s had a love — hate relationship with her time as a singer, dancer, and performer. Unlike many of the individuals she encounters on a regular basis, being famous and devoting her life to stages was never in her plans. Instead, life thrust it upon her in order to give her some sort of direction—to give her some sort of out from the “grim” lifestyle she was living way back when. She’s so appreciative of it and will make that known until the day she dies, but that doesn’t mean that it’s been smooth sailing the entire time. In fact, if asked directly, Jiseul would likely not recommend this career path to anyone that doesn’t have a deep passion and adoration for the arts.
That’s not because she thinks it’s a bad idea for everyone, no—she just finds that she doesn’t feel nearly as fulfilled as she maybe would’ve if she declined the scout’s offer; if she’d been adamant about her lack of interest in the entertainment industry. Appearing on television and being able to travel all around the world has its perks, but more than anything—especially at this point in her life—she’s desperate for some normalcy. However, she knows that as long as her contract is in effect, she needs to obey the words of her CEO and managing team, and if it’s up to them, she’d never stop working... and while she’s happy to prove that she’s still in possession of a powerful work ethic, she’s upset at the many missed opportunities regarding her personal life. There have been so many times that she wished she could be with her childhood friends or her family members on days of importance, but more often than not, she’s been at work—contractually obligated to show up even if she really didn’t want to.
For the longest time, she had no idea why she was still involved with Yuseong Entertainment—their demands often insanely large and heavy despite sometimes not delivering what’s promised to their artists. They’ve taken a lot of special moments away from her that she’ll never get back. There’s been a myriad of instances that make her question her trust in them, but at first listen to “Wind Flower,” Jiseul caves and gives into them again; even if they didn’t compose or write the single and its b-side. It sparks an inspiration in her that she’s seldom felt, and there’s a part of her that knows that it’s going to be a success for them. It’s a step in the right direction for she and the others; one that she believes will really catapult them back into the industry. So, it’s needless to say, the recording process of her parts flowed so smoothly—her vocals maybe not the strongest, but she worked just as hard to complement the music; fluttering breaths, deep sensuality, longing, and regret all intertwining for a great acting performance conveyed in the song—all made easier by a personal connection to the lyrical content.
It’s not a secret to her that she’s hurt people, even if that was never her ultimate intention. She knows she’s not innocent and she’s not completely free of flaws; she knows she’s hard to deal with sometimes; she knows she makes bad decisions just like everyone else does. Each one of her lines resonates with apart of her that she’s not comfortable divulging to the public, or hell, even to some of her closest friends. Now, she feels as though she has some sort of outlet, and honestly, it’s completely freeing for her. She feels so strongly about all of this that she even finds herself in the studio long after she wrapped recording; listening to the unedited footage over and over again to let it truly sink into her bones.
For the first time in forever, she’s excited about a comeback; she’s thrilled to sing and dance for the crowds; she’s feeling connected to her flowered path. Jiseul just hopes that others will feel the same way she does whenever its released... and fortunately for her sanity, she genuinely believes that they will.

wschorong:
Jiseul. I get to see Jiseul today! The young woman’s head was filled with nothing more than air and anticipation. On days such as this, there was no other room for anything else. Her enthusiasm for seeing friends ㅡ no, not friends, rather, people she looked up to, would give her whole heart to ㅡ was few and far between given her purposefully small circle. It would not be far from accurate for Chorong to call Jiseul something of a role model. It came as naturally to her as humming her favorite song. An only child, a product of a mother who never offered the nurture a mother should for a girl. Jiseul, however, always made herself present in her life. Their time together in Jeju was too short lived. She recalled the many occasions in which she burst into tears seeing her leave and mother come back home. Even when she moved to Seoul and subsequently debuted in Ladybug, Chorong kept the older in her nighttime prayers.
As such, good news for Jiseul was good news for Chorong. It became second nature to habitually check the internet for any updates or posts about Ladybug. She joined the masses of Lovebugs anxious to see their favorite group step into the public eye once again. ( God forbid Jiseul find out how fervently she defended the group on anonymous forums. They will come back, just you wait. You’re just jealous they’re so much prettier and talented than you are. But what could a teenager sick with admiration do other than such a thing? )
Chorong took the entire weekend to prepare. Researching cake recipes, the proper icing tips to make pretty flowers and customized colors. One hundred percent effort. Despite the tears of frustration. Despite the now ruined cake pan that sat in the dorm room trashcan. A celebratory cake crafted by well-intentioned hands had to taste better than anything store-bought. She even went as far as purchasing a bottle of rose wine with saved up pocket change. Again, far from high quality, but the thought counted far more. ( Not to mention, it made her feel like quite the adult. )
Cake box and bottle in hand, she strutted up to the apartment, making sure to knock before entering the door’s code. ( She double checked the text Jiseul sent her ages ago to remind her for the umpteenth time. ) “Jiseul!” Chorong called out as she stepped inside, nearly tripping over her own shoes as she slid them off. No answer. “Jiseul, are you home?” The further she ventured within, the louder an indistinguishable sound grew. Was that… someone crying? She said the woman’s name once more and rushed in. No, maybe she was simply watching a sad drama. Not her vision of Jiseul. She couldn’t break.
“I’m here! Congratulations!” She outstretched her hands with the cake box, full (rare) smile on her face, none the wiser to what she just walked into.
Shaky fingers clutch onto the width of her wine glass, the maroon liquid within circling softly as she worked to balance her beverage at the same time she cried. Eventually, she grew tired of doing so and placed it on the end table to her right—leaving it to sit as she succumbed to the influx of emotions present. A few of her closest friends have told her that she should reach out to someone to guide her through the depression she’s been experiencing, but she insists that she’s fine; never wanting a single soul to worry about her in such a fashion. Emotions like this are completely normal, right? Bursting into tears at random moments throughout the day and feeling so heavy that you can’t move is normal sometimes, right? That’s what she convinces herself, even if it’s not accurate at all. In her mind, all of this internal chaos is caused by the many hours of work she accomplishes per week, but as ignorant as she is to the sensation, it doesn’t dawn on her that she’s actually being crushed by the weight of many other untreated issues. To Jiseul, it’s much easier to ignore all of her emotions as opposed to confront them.
Truth is, she has no idea what coping skills to utilize in order to curb the blueness that swathes her, but she’s adamant that, in time, she’ll be able to shake all of it off and emerge as someone better; someone more “put-together” than she is right now. Lifting herself up slightly from her lying position, she buries her head in her palms and uses the contact to soothe herself—tears still raining down as she hunches over. Are red wine and solitude enough to quell her woes for tonight? She has no idea, but she’s hoping that this doesn’t last all night long. She’s got work the next day, so she must thaw out her frozenness before her call-time. Sadly, that’s easier said than done, but she’s going to attempt to pull herself out of this black hole she’s trapped in.
All of the sudden, a knock from the front door interrupts her wails and she feels a powerful rush of adrenaline zoom through her system. Scrambling, she pulls a throw blanket over to her and uses it to dry her eyes and nose. Not her proudest moment, but when she’s done, she tucks it underneath her sofa—out of sight, out of mind, then hears as a voice calls out to her, and by the sound of it, she knows exactly who it is. “Fuck...” Jiseul sighs inaudibly, one of her hands raising so her fingers can comb through her long whorls to tame them a bit. Before she knows it, she’s faced with Chorong—someone she cherishes so much. Painting on a smile in the best possible way she can, she stands from her once seated position; still feeling shaken and wounded, but she’s doing her best. “H—Hi, honey!” Her tone breaks, her eyes puffy, red, and still very much damp from her prior release. “Oh my god! You did all this for me?! What did I do to deserve this much love, hmm?” She follows up, wanting the conversation to flow as some sort of distraction.
“God, you’re the sweetest!” Reaching out, she grabs hold of the cake and quickly rushes into her kitchen to set it down on the counter; hoping that the younger of them hasn’t noticed her countenance. “I was just thinking about you the other day, too! It’s funny how our minds are still pretty connected, huh? You must’ve ‘felt’ it somehow and decided to come surprise me!”

wsmiles:
they had originally met during his time as one of the ladybug dancers for their music video. this was before he made his debut and before he had the ambition to make it as far as he had. he made it a mission to distance himself from neighbouring idols as to avoid causing any problems. he knew that his personality was perhaps not an easy one to acclimatise oneself to, and so he did everyone the favour and kept to himself.
he would turn up to practice, doing his part then proceed to seclude himself from everyone else. and it was the same on set. he remembers @jiseulws introducing herself and him telling her that it was best to leave him be, he has a tendency to make people’s blood boil. that was the last he would attempt to socialise with the group. but now, now was different. he has made his debut and he now has a standing (somewhat), within the industry. he allows himself to mess up, to make problems and to amend them slowly. he comes prepared with disclaimers, warning signs big enough to ward off the sensitive and here he was, in a pole dancing class with jiseul.
he was not the best and he must admit, the core strength required to keep himself up on that pole was enough to burn straight to his dwindling soul. he wanted to build strength, grace and perhaps be more in tuned with his feminine side, whatever that meant. he slumps back against his pole, huffing, “i… will be feeling that for a month.” he hasn’t been as consistent with the classes as he should be, choosing instead to strengthen his variety show skills (to which he fails miserably). “your muscles have muscles, that’s fucken crazy.”
Admittedly, Jiseul’s career has gone on for far longer than she thought it would, and while she’s grateful for all the experiences she’s had, after awhile, the lines between each year start to blur together, so during her rookie days, she remembers almost nothing—the music video sets, the stages, the photoshoots, etc., they have morphed into a singular memory; one that she recalls with both fondness and remorse. She’s made some great friends during that time period, and she’s experienced both true love and heartbreak in many forms, but there’s one specific first encounter that she’s carried with her all this time, and it’s the first instance that she ever met Miles. At the time, he was still training under Yuseong Entertainment, and being that she had newly debuted not long before the shoot for the Vista music video, there was a part of her that hadn’t realized that she was an idol and no longer a trainee, so that meant it was more difficult to make conversation with those who weren’t the “talent” or the “creatives” behind the scene.
Not wanting to seem too cold or unfriendly, though, she made it a point to get to know as many of their extras / backup dancers as she could, but when she attempted to speak to who would later become Crescent’s maknae, she was met with a rigidity that caught her completely off-guard. She wasnt offended necessarily, but it was the first time that day that someone reacted to her in a fashion that was negative as opposed to positive—the others gushed about her and her beauty or her supposed “talents,” but he merely asked her to leave him alone. Obviously at the time she respected his wishes, and after he was made public as an artist by the company, she had a few moments where she’d run into him and send smiles his way as a means for him to know that she had no ill-will or hard feelings towards him, but they hadn’t properly interacted until today—when they’re meant to take to the pole and strengthen their cores.
It’s not an easy workout routine to uphold, but she’s glad that Miles seemingly threw caution to the wind and wanted to try it out for himself. She applauded his boldness and his readiness to ditch his masculinity for awhile, and when it was break time for the two of them, she grabbed onto her bottle of Pocari Sweat and took a nice, long drink. “Mmm...” She hums at the flavor and refreshment, before placing it back down onto the floor; laughing at his statements all the while. “Yeah, this is your first go with it, so you’ll more than likely feel pretty awful tomorrow...” Jiseul agreed, delicate laughter following suit. “Awful to the point where even laughing might destroy your abs, but a nice bath should help!” Walking over to him, she places one of her palms on his shoulder; rubbing sweetly before squeezing it. “I’m glad you agreed to come today, though! It’s a lot more fun with another person around.”
When her muscles are mentioned, she giggles; nudging him playfully on his bicep. “Thank you, sweetheart. Honestly, I should probably lay off of the pole for awhile so I don’t look too toned for my comeback, but I don’t know... there’s just something about it that makes me happy.” It’s true—it’s become such an outlet for her over the years. “We’ve got a little more class to go, but I was wondering if you’d maybe wanna grab some food after this? We’re gonna need calories. If you’re already busy, though, don’t worry about it! Just thought it’d be really nice.”

INT. JISEUL’s BOUDOIR — NIGHTTIME, 10:59 PM.
JISEUL enters in an extravagant silk robe, her hair tied into a messy topknot, with a freshly washed face—completely free of all cosmetics. Gazing at her reflection, she has an internal Snow White and Magic Mirror type of “conversation” with herself. TW / There are mentions of the following triggers in various frequencies: body checking, body dysmorphic disorder, cosmetic surgery, and depression. Please take care of yourself and continue reading at your own discretion. ♡
There isn’t one moment out of every single day where Jiseul isn’t somehow reflecting on her life and all that she has, especially whenever she’s alone in the comfort of her own home. Looking around, she takes in the sights of all the material items she’s accumulated since becoming an idol. Her vanity is overstocked with luxury skin care and cosmetics; her living area is decorated with stunning furnishings that she hand-selected herself; her bedroom’s a perfect escape from a hard day’s work and made to feel like every night is spent in a resort. She’s grateful for all of it—truly and deeply—and while she realizes that the only reason she has so many beautiful things is because of her career path, she still can’t help but feel wholly unworthy.
Why her of all people? Why is Jiseul the lucky one that has all of these riches bestowed upon her? It doesn’t seem like long ago that she was covered in spilled soju, gochujang paste, and other various side dishes that patrons at the restaurant used; her clothing often hand-me-down items or purchased from the sale rack at department stores. Hell, even at the beginning of her time with Ladybug, she wasn’t used to earning such high figures. She and the others worked tirelessly to provide music for their fans, and while they took the time to grow as well, they’ve still never been given the proper care to truly take off—especially over the last few years.
Little does she realize that most all of what she owns ( and what she’s accomplished thus far ) is all thanks to her multitude of solo adventures, so in a lot of ways, her work ethic is the primary cause for her current stance in the industry. Over time, she’s made herself into what some might call a “CF queen,” a “variety show goddess,” and the “ideal type” of many of the public. People look at her ad campaigns; her fan-cams; her appearances on television and are impressed with her beauty first. That, and the fact that her personality is a lot like ice cream—cold on the outside, but sweet and "soft” once you get to know her. It’s honestly a seamless blend.
Despite all of the love that she receives in droves, Jiseul seems to only pay attention to those who have harsh things to say about her; parading their bullying around as “criticism” even if it’s anything but. Reading comments on news articles, social media posts, and other outlets used to be something she did on an hourly basis, but she’s since tried to encourage herself to stop. What good is she doing herself by reading the hateful words of her unqualified critics? It’s not like they have an idea what being a celebrity is like—they don’t truly grasp the pressure that these entertainers are under at all times, and what’s more is that they likely never will.
It’s easy for her to rationalize why their opinions don’t matter, but that doesn’t mean that their venomous “observations” don’t sting. In fact, for her, they sting all too much. It’s hard for her not to focus on them as their commentary resembles the inner dialogue she battles regularly. Take now for instance. She settles herself in front of the full-length mirror in her boudoir—her eyes taking in each angle, dip, and curve of her lithe frame. Slowly, she allows her robe to fall onto the ground as she stands there in only her barely-there negligee. Her palms glide over the expanse of her abdominals and hips as she studies herself carefully.
Knowing that there’s been a comeback announced for her and her members, she feels a heavy weight on her shoulders—the need to appear absolutely impeccable overtaking her thoughts once again. Even though she’s been eating well and has increased her exercise habits, Jiseul still feels unprepared and inadequate. It’s been just shy of three years since she stepped on-stage at a music show, so the thought of it is incredibly daunting to her. Although she has no clue what their concept or sound is going to be like just yet, she has a hunch that her styling will continue to fall in line with how it’s always been: sexy, seductive, and tastefully revealing.
She realizes that she suits their concepts well and she’s happy to dress in whatever clothing that’s given to her, even if it creates an insecurity that she has a difficult time silencing. It’s all apart of the job, after all. Taking a break from examining her physique, her hands raise upward; her fingertips now glissading over the contours of her face. She feels its shape, its length, and width, and she can’t help but point out imperfections she’s convinced she has even if they’re merely figments of her wild imagination. There’s a feeling of blueness that swathes her the longer she stares at her reflection; one that’s become a frequent visitor of her’s.
When her actions dawn on her, Jiseul breathes a heavy sigh; forcing down all the guilt and the unhappiness to tend to at some other time. Though it’s annoying that these feelings of deep wistfulness choose to present themselves ( mostly ) right before bed, she turns and falls onto her mattress anyway—gazing up at the ceiling for a few seconds before shutting her eyes; hoping that she’s able to get some rest tonight.
She’s going to need it... her schedule’s only about to get busier.

01. INT. YUSEONG ENT REHEARSAL SPACE — AFTERNOON.
She knows that she shouldn’t ruin her makeup, so she tries her hardest to remain as composed as possible—gazing into the mirror before her as she inhales and exhales a few deep breaths. Even though Jiseul really tries to suppress all of her negative emotions until she gets home at the end of the day, for some reason, she’s having a rough time shaking them right now. She’s been a mess ever since she was told of Ladybug’s upcoming comeback preparations. It’s been a long time since she performed on-stage, and her solo work has slowed down a little, too, so she feels completely out of practice. That, and well, she can’t stop thinking about how swollen her face looks. Well, in her own opinion, at least. Truth is, it hasn’t been very long since she went under the knife to “fix up” the work done on her nose bridge, so all she can think about is if her audience will notice any differences. If they do, will they be receptive to it? Will they think she looks worse now? Should she not have opted for the procedure in the first place? Thoughts flutter about in an obsessive spiral, one that she’s having a hard time breaking out of.
Taking a seat at on the floor in front of the looking glass, she rests her palms in her lap as she works hard to calm herself down. The coping techniques she’s learned over time often give her some peace of mind, but for some reason, they’re falling short right now. Glancing over her shoulder, Jiseul checks and makes sure that the door is closed and that she’s the only person around, and once it’s confirmed, she brings her hands back up and buries her head into them; soft sobs unable to halt in their tracks as she unleashes her emotions. She’s meant to practice during this schedule time, but the release of emotions is too intoxicating of a feeling that she allows it to overtake her—crumbling. Having to deal with these wild emotions on a much more regular basis is taking a toll on her mental health, and she knows she needs help, but isn’t sure if she should seek it—the stigma around therapy still prevalent in her mind. She’s meant to be grateful, happy, and rich, right? If word got out that she wasn’t, what would that mean?
She continues to cry as she thinks of all the worst case-scenarios possible, not realizing that there’s people wandering around in the hallway just outside of the rehearsal space she’s in.

01. INT. JISEUL’s HOME IN GANGNAM — EARLY EVE.
To many people, it may seem as though Jiseul has had a long break to mull over her career, her personal life, and the trajectory of where both are currently headed—Ladybug’s extended hiatus still ongoing despite the new confirmation that the girls are just about to head into the recording studio to record new music, learn choreography, and to essentially kickstart a brand new era for them—one that could either make or break their stance as an idol-group in today’s competitive and oversaturated entertainment industry. Trends have changed, times have changed, and she’s curious as to whether or not they’ll be able to keep up with their juniors; all of whom have really made their mark in rather explosive ways on the charts and online. Nowadays, girl groups seem to stick to a more “girl crush” and strong concept. Not many dare to venture into concepts that are a little risqué or “sexy” in nature, so while there could be a market for she and her members in the present landscape, she can’t help but wonder what Yuseong Entertainment has up their sleeves for them, and that thought alone makes her feel a little anxious about it all.
That, and well, just when her busy solo schedule was beginning to wind down a little more, she is told of the upcoming promotion cycle, and as grateful as she is for a chance to be back in the music world, she can’t help but feel wholly and completely exhausted. That, in and of itself, is what causes her to feel like an undeserving and ungrateful brat, which isn’t an easy emotion to carry around on a semi-regular basis, but she can’t help it. So many people work so hard and fight for their chance to debut only to get rejected, or passed on to a different company, or in some instances, they get horribly mistreated and taken advantage of. In Jiseul’s mind, she’s a super lucky girl—one who just happened to fall into a life of luxuries and opportunities by the powers of luck and serendipity. In order to honor everyone else’s aspirations, she chooses not to open up about her personal struggles with fame and fortune, but the downside of that is the immense feelings of loneliness and isolation that’s caused mostly by her silence.
So, now that she’s alone at home and left to deal with all of her thoughts, she pours herself a glass of red wine and imbibes; doing her best to take the edge off of her head’s revolving door of worries. After awhile, the alcohol only creates more of a flurry of emotions, though, and she’s caught up in them so much that she begins to cry—the comfort of her oversized couch cradling her as she releases emotions in one of the only ways she knows how to. No one’s around, not one person can see her, and she’s allowed to be however “ugly” she wants to be; finally giving into the waterfall of weariness that’s been attempting to drown her for quite sometime now.

FREEFORM
DOSSIER
CAREER
TL;DR—
SHE WAS BORN AND RAISED IN JEJU-DO, SOUTH KOREA. HER MOTHER AND FATHER WORKED AS LIVE-IN STAFF FOR A FAMOUS, EXTREMELY WEALTHY COUPLE IN THEIR VACATION HOME. JISEUL GOT TO PRETEND SHE LIVED THIS LAVISH LIFESTYLE, BUT SHE FAILED TO REALIZE THAT THE HOUSE, ALL THE FURNITURE, THE CARS—NONE OF THEM BELONGED TO HER FAMILY. IN A SENSE, SHE FELT AS THOUGH SHE WAS LIVING SOME SORT OF DOUBLE LIFE. /// AS A TEENAGER, SHE GOT CAUGHT WITH THE HOME OWNER’S SON IN A PROVOCATIVE SITUATION. APPARENTLY, THEIR STAR-CROSSED RELATIONSHIP WAS BANNED IN THE CONTRACT HER PARENTS SIGNED. THAT MEANT THEY HAD TO MOVE OUT AND BACK TO THE CAPITAL CITY WHERE IT WAS A LITTLE MORE AFFORDABLE. SHE WORKED AS A WAITRESS UNTIL SHE WAS SCOUTED BY YUSEONG ENTERTAINMENT. /// SHE TRAINED FOR A VERY SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME—NINE MONTHS, TO BE EXACT. JISEUL HAD NEVER DANCED OR PERFORMED BEFORE, BUT SHE FOUND A NEW LOVE FOR IT ONCE SHE ADJUSTED PROPERLY. SHE FOUND IT IRRITATING THAT SHE WAS SOLELY PUSHED FOR VISUAL APPEAL ABOVE ALL ELSE, BUT SHE SIGNED A CONTRACT AND COULDN’T FIGHT TO MAKE A CHANGE. AT LEAST NOT YET. /// HER VISUALS CONTINUE TO BE PRAISED, AND LITTLE BY LITTLE, SHE FEELS AS THOUGH SHE’S ONLY A FACE AND A BODY—NOT A LIVING, BREATHING HUMAN BEING. HER CAREER HAS BEEN MOLDED BY HER APPEARANCE AND IT’S CREATED A LOT OF DISCOMFORT FOR HER. SHE’S BEEN ABLE TO KEEP HER HEAD ABOVE WATER FOR NOW, BUT SHE’S BEGINNING TO DROWN A LITTLE MORE AS TIME GOES BY.
PSYCHE—
MORE INFORMATION FOR THIS CAN BE FOUND ON HER DOSSIER PAGE, BUT SHE’S ESSENTIALLY A WOMAN WHO IS AN EXPERT AT LIGHTING UP A ROOM; CAPTIVATING AN AUDIENCE; MAKING YOU FEEL SPECIAL; BREATHING A FLIRTATIOUS ENERGY NO MATTER WHERE SHE IS; BUT DEEP DOWN, SHE’S EXTREMELY CRITICAL OF HERSELF. AFTER EVERY APPEARANCE ON TV, LIVE STAGE, MODELING CAMPAIGN, ETC. SHE’S KNOWN TO PICK HERSELF APART. THERE’S AN INSECURITY THAT LIES BENEATH THE FEIGNED CONFIDENCE, ONE THAT SHE KEEPS LOCKED UP TIGHT AND ONLY LETS OUT WHEN SHE’S ALONE. THIS MAKES HER RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER PEOPLE DIFFICULT TO MAINTAIN. WHEN SHE STARTS TO FEEL REALLY CLOSE TO SOMEONE, SHE’S AFRAID OF LETTING HER MASK FALL AND SHOWING THEM HER TRUEST SELF, SO SHE PUTS A LITTLE DISTANCE THERE—NEVER WANTING ANYONE TO CATCH HER ON AN OFF DAY. IT’S EXHAUSTING, LIKE, SHE’S EXHAUSTED ALL THE TIME BECAUSE OF IT. SHE MAY HAVE A FEW PEOPLE THAT TRULY KNOW HER, BUT FOR THE MOST PART, SHE’S A BIT OF AN ENIGMA, AND SHE PREFERS IT THAT WAY.
INSPO—
TRUTH BE TOLD, I WAS REALLY INSPIRED BY THE LIFE AND TIMES OF HOLLYWOOD’S BELOVED STARLETS FROM THE GOLDEN AGE—PRIMARILY MS. MARILYN MONROE. I’VE BEEN OBSESSED WITH HER, HER LIFE, AND HER TALENT SINCE I WAS IN MIDDLE SCHOOL, BUT IT’S ALWAYS BEEN DAUNTING TO THINK OF TRYING TO CAPTURE HER ESSENCE IN A MUSE OF MINE. NOW, I’VE DECIDED TO GIVE IT A GO. ADDITIONALLY, I PULLED A LOT OF INSPIRATION FROM KOREAN CELEBRITIES SUCH AS BAE SUJI, IM YOONA, LEE HYERI, AND KIM SEOLHYUN FOR HER BODY OF WORK.
PLOTS—
HERE ARE SOME BRIEF JUMPING OFF POINTS FOR PLOTS THAT I HAVE. I’LL MAKE A FORMAL ANNOUNCEMENT WHEN I’VE COMPLETED HER PLOTS PAGE.
01. A NEWER GENERATION IDOL WHO HAS CLAIMED HER AS THEIR IDEAL TYPE TO THE PUBLIC. THIS HAS CAUGHT HER ATTENTION, SO SHE REACHES OUT FOR FUN.
02. AN INDIVIDUAL WHO MAYBE CAUGHT HER CRYING IN HER DRESSING ROOM AT SOME POINT. SHE FREAKED OUT AND TRIED TO PLAY IT OFF AS IF SHE SIMPLY JUST MISSED HER FAMILY, BUT IT’S CLEAR THERE WAS SOMETHING DEEPER INVOLVED.
03. A YOUNGER FEMALE IDOL ( PREFERABLY A VISUAL, BUT OPEN TO ANY OTHER ROLES, AS WELL ) THAT SHE SEES A LOT OF HERSELF IN, SO SHE’S SORT OF TAKEN THEM UNDER HER WING. TOTAL BIG SISTER / LITTLE SISTER VIBES, LOTS OF LOVE.
04. AN OLDER GENERATION IDOL WHO SHE HAS A COMPLICATED DATING PAST WITH—CAN BE MALE, FEMALE, OR OTHERWISE. SHE’S DATED MEN AND WOMEN, BUT HAS A PREFERENCE FOR MEN. ALL OF THEIR HISTORY TOGETHER IS UP FOR DISCUSSION.
05. A STAFF MEMBER THAT SHE HAS A REALLY, REALLY CLOSE FRIENDSHIP WITH BEHIND THE SCENES. THEY WOULD BE CONFIDANTS AND THE STAFF MEMBER IS A PERSON THAT SHE FEELS REALLY COMFORTABLE WITH. BEST FRIEND ENERGY.
06. ANOTHER IDOL SHE MEETS TO DANCE WITH. COULD ALSO BE A WORKOUT PAL WHO SHE POLE DANCES WITH FROM TIME-TO-TIME, TOO. GENDER DOESN’T MATTER.
07. SOMEONE WHO SEES THROUGH HER FAKE SMILES AND HAS ALWAYS WANTED TO CALL HER OUT ON IT, BUT HAS NEVER SAID ANYTHING. IT’S NOT THAT THEY HATE HER, THEY JUST KNOW SHE’S A PHONY AND IT’S STARTING TO BOTHER THEM.
08. INFIDELITY TW / AN EX OF HER’S THAT SHE CHEATED ON WITH ANOTHER IDOL. WHILE SHE’S A ROMANTIC AT HEART, SHE CAN’T HELP BUT FLIRT WITH EVERYONE—AND SOMETIMES GET A LITTLE TOO INVOLVED WHEN SHE REALLY SHOULDN’T.
09. INFIDELITY TW / THE IDOL THAT SHE CHEATED ON HER EX WITH. THEY EITHER COULD’VE KNOWN ABOUT HER RELATIONSHIP AND CHOSE TO IGNORE IT, OR THEY COULD’VE BEEN COMPLETELY BLINDSIDED, AS WELL. TOTALLY YOUR CALL. THIS COULD ALSO BE BLENDED WITH PLOT POINT 04 FOR AN ADDED LAYER OF DRAMA.
10. AN ALL-OUT ENEMY THAT SHE DESPISES MORE THAN ANYTHING—WHO MORE THAN LIKELY FEELS MUTUAL—BUT TO THE PUBLIC, THEY’RE MADE OFF TO BE BEST FRIENDS. SHE KEEPS HER DISDAIN QUIET, BUT IT’S CLEAR THERE’S DISTASTE THERE.
