doraemon & junzhe; details after the cut
bonus: ZLS’s close friend & assistant posted on his personal weibo “your* Shizuka (静香)” back in last October
*the your here refers to the plural your 你们
03.2021 GLS likes a douyin video with Your Name and Doraemon Stand By Me 2, both of which he has liked or mentioned several times.
03.2021 Later that month, during an interview, GLS was asked to match songs to key moments in WoH. GLS couldn’t find a song to fit the ep12 scene with WenZhou basking in the sun, and picked the Doraemon song.
03-04.2021 Sometime after that, GLS was asked in an interview which character he would like to be the most, he says Doraemon, so he can travel anywhere he wants to.
05.03.2021 GLS says his most memorable scene in WoH was the ep12 scene of Wenzhou basking in the sun.
05.04.2021 ZLS’s farewell speech is very similar to Shizuka’s lines in her wedding dress in the Doraemon Stand By Me 2 trailer in CN.
just stay the same, stay with me

05.04 Concert Repo
Backstage was nowhere as romantic as everyone who saw the concert thought it was.
On the 4th, "夺人所爱" (take who you love), "不能说的秘密" (secret) and "温周之恋" (Wenzhou's love story) were even scaring some of the cpfs. The backstage team did receive a warning right away. During the concert days, they had called the staff (of all the actors) out to get them to stop both their words and actions (舞cp). So when the staff returned to their respective break rooms, they did pass the warnings on very sternly to the actors. The actors all do have a complete understanding of the severity of the situation and the consequences. When I heard the confession of the century, I was bawling my eyes out.
The words that both of them said that day, the things that they did, the pressure and risks that they born are so far beyond what we can imagine.
(OP switches to the first-person narrative here for a while, italicised for easy reading) Not only were there ten thousand people watching me as I was making my promise to you (ZLS), as I embraced you (GLS); I also fully understand the pressure and dangers of my actions, but I still want to make that promise to you; I still want to hold you in my arms. This is the most complete expression (of my feelings) for you.
What makes me the craziest about junzhe is that they're so brave* and willing to face what may seem like impossible hurdles. Two hearts bounding towards each other, the way they look at each other - from the start to the end is open and aboveboard, bravely but with evident love.
《爱拼才会赢》- you have to fight to win at love. After the uploader's XXXXX 爆料, I now better understand why Zhang laoshi let Gong laoshi sing that song during their celebration banquet.
It turns out that ZLS wanted to say "forever" so much that he removed his in-ear-monitors (IEMs). GLS still wore his IEMs and perhaps heard the director's hint that they should reel it in a little, but he still couldn't help himself and hugged ZLS. He immediately wanted to pull back, but ZLS could sense it and pressed him back (into the hug). There was more to this moment than meets the eye.
After the first concert, the entire cast was warned not to go overboard with shipping, but somehow day 2 of the concert was worse (better) than the first day. Their colleagues in the cast used actual actions to tell them not to be afraid. It's not a big deal. Their colleagues were trying to help these two young, untainted ones get a chance to hold each other in their arms in public. Sure enough, it's real feelings that move people the most. This cast and crew is truly a godsend.
Their colleagues were helping them, enabling these two courageous laoshis to get a slightly more perfect finale.
That hug of a century is indeed about having to fight for love to win**.
Notes behind cut
*report uses 一腔 "孤勇", of which it's a particular kind of bravery, which is also mentioned in ep 12 by the river confession scene. This phrase refers to being brave alone, to have that hero's courage to face the most demanding challenges by yourself. I adapted it a bit to fit two people.
** A play on the song 爱拼才会赢, I changed the title translation slightly to fit the grammatical structure of English. You can find the translation of the lines they sang here.
I decided not to post the screenshots of the report here for now.

Finally sharing this! This was all over C-social media, and everyone was pouring in resources to work out what was being said by the director over the megaphone around 8 seconds in.
Context: ZZH is filming his Axu scene of discovering the body of WKX. ZZH reads his line: “Is Wen Kexing inside?” GJ answers from inside “Laowen is inside.” GJ walks out, and at 12 seconds, says “Hi~ I’m here~ Why are you calling me?”
The ‘sugar’ between ZZH and GJ’s little dialogue: At 8 seconds, the director is calling over the megaphone for GJ. According to general consensus, he says: “俊仔,你老婆在这儿暴走了!没时间了,赶紧的”
“Junzai, your laopo is being out of control! There’s no more time, hurry” or “Junzai, your laopo is running wild! There’s no more time, hurry”
Junzai, southern Chinese nickname for GJ, note it is not WKX’s nickname, it is GJ’s nickname
Laopo, wife, waifu.
#no comment #woh production team being woh production team #what exactly happened during production??!! #yes you can hear the “your laopo” very clearly

junzhe were asked if they have anything to say during the post- concert banquet, anything to add, and they went with this song. this lyric selection is just... amazing
omgggg
my fujian dialect is so bad i did not understand the lyrics that junjun and laopo sang on stage during post-woh-concert “celebration banquet” until now.
三分天注定 three parts are decided by fate 七分靠打拼 seven parts depend on hard work 爱拼才会赢 you have to fight for love to win
why do you have to pick that song? o.o srsly. SRSLY.
