                              everyone  meet  the  rhees  !

jaehyun rhee , born and raised in silver creek , was 14 when he first met miss ahreum song , who came to visit the resort . as he would like to say , they couldn’t stand each other at first , but soon enough , feelings started blooming between the two of them . that’s why , when ahreum had to leave and return to denver , they started sending letters to each other and each holiday , ahreum would return to silver creek . no one really believed that their love story would last , because we all know how feelings are , especially when you are young , but despite all the question marks and insecurities , they did it . 

at 18 , both of them said yes , declaring an undying love to one another and swearing that no one could ever come between them . one year later , the rhees were welcoming their first child into the family . neither of the too wanted to give up their dreams , so soon after giving birth , ahreum and jaehyun moved to denver to enrol to an university there . she had creative writing as a major , while he chose business . their second child came three years later , but even then , neither of them gave up their dreams . they worked their asses off , pushing themselves to the limit and keeping a household up , as well as their grades . and that’s what they did .

finally graduating , they returned to silver creek . ahreum started working on her book , one she dreamed of reading ever since she was young , while jaehyun started planning his next move for the hotel he was dreaming of opening in denver . ahreum always wanted a big family and jaehyun did everything for her , which is why we’re here today , am i right ? so by the time they were 26 , andromeda was born , followed by another sibling at the sweet age of 27 . jaehyun kept working on his plans , day and night , without a break , but he never forgot give his family attention , as we all can see . juno himself was born three years after , followed by what the family expected to be their last child , two years after , when ahreum was 32 .

by the time their six kid was born , jaehyun’s hotel , his big dream , was already going strong in denver . four years later , while jaehyun was in the process of opening a hotel in los angeles as well , a surprise came . ahreum was pregnant again . however , the big shock came when she gave birth , not to one , but to three babies . they thought 6 kids were a mess , imagine only what 3 more to the crying pile did to them . but they made it work and the family is now well known around silver creek , as well as worldwide due to rhee chain hotel they have .

i don’t have a lot of rules for the siblings , but i do want their ages to be kept as they are + they should be , without a saying , all koreans and have a name related to space or something like that . other than that , all the siblings are extremely close , despite the age difference between them and would do anything for each other . i don’t have a gender set for them either , but please don’t make all of them girls djbdhfbv

the founding families of silver creek, co! ♡

now that you’ve had some time to read over and review the information within the town, we wanted to share with you some information on the “founding families” of silver creek. 

these families are the staples in the community from a myriad of professions and titles, and will serve as our loose canon list. most of the details are open ended and are open to interpretation by people who are taking them! we have also added areas for extended family that are equally as open ended and can allow cousin and familial relations to the main family. as a note: we want to stress that canon families are in no way “more important” than original characters. we just wanted to create some founding families intrigue and plots, as well as provide people a little help with character building by giving a small base!

within our next batch of reservations coming at you with your development contest starting on april 4th, we will allow you to reserve a face that is attached to a specific canon from the list below. if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to send us a message!

here is our first content preview! we want to give you the information about our fictional town of silver creek, colorado. underneath the cut, you’ll find out more specifics about the neighborhoods and some of the different pre-existing establishments and “town staples” that will make up our occupation claim. this is a non-exhaustive list, and of course, you are more than invited to create your own businesses and plots based off them. we just wanted to provide a few pre-created locations to avoid having “three dive bars” in the town! later this afternoon, we will also be releasing information on some of the town’s founding families, so keep an eye out for those!

- rosemary nilsen , 21 , danielle rose russell . growing up in one of the founding family means a lot of work , especially when you’re the youngest and your parents try to compensate the fact that some of your siblings didn’t listen to them , by making you follow into their steps . however , rosemary decided to do something different with her life , which is why , instead of going to the medical school like all her older siblings before , she is now double majoring now in english literature and creative writing . if you thought thanksgiving dinners were awkward before , you don’t want to know how they turned out now . what she needs : her siblings , 2-3 best friends , crushes , a possible future someone .

- maeve carvalho , 25 , camila mendes . maeve grew up in silver creek , but her dream was never to leave the town . if anything , she dreamed of opening a big restaurant there and to have people coming from all the corners of the world to taste her food . right now , she’s still working towards her dream , but while she plans , maeve is working at the witch’s den , cooking food for everyone who stops there and just being an overall sunshine . what she needs : one younger sister , regulars at the witch’s den , 2-3 best friends , hs friends .
