So, the Wings waived Drew Miller and if he clears at noon today he can be assigned to the Griffins although he could return to the Wings because of Vanek’s injury.

Just to reiterate, the Wings waived Drew Miller, who has more goals than forwards Abdelkader, Ott, Glendening, Sheahan, and Jurco.

This is what happens when your GM doesn’t know what he’s doing, hasn’t made a decent trade in years, and your team has way too many forwards and calls up defensemen who are out of options.
