Time has passed since I last posted — & in that time, there has been little to no pony finds…. I did get a new job though, & that has hindered my ability to thrift everyday LOL. I was on Facebook though at work on my break, & came across a GREAT find!

This lot was $10 on FB Marketplace. But the problem was, it was a state away & I definitely don’t have the time to travel 6 hours round trip for ponies 🤣 so I just simply asked her to ship, all shipping costs paid by me of course, & she ACCEPTED!

Well pony friends… I finally moved.

It’s been a sentimental past few weeks. I had been living in the house I was living in, for almost 20 years. It’s my family home. But I’m 24 now, & I thought…. “why not move out?”

My first days as a duplex chix have been nice! & I have my ponies all set up right now in a cluster, as you can see. I hope to have a better set up for them soon. But for now, they’re all together looking cute as always.

Awh I was so lucky today. I spent ALL day today with my best friend, & boyfriend. He took me to the flea market — & BAM there she was in a tub full of toys.

This TV stand in particular is super handy for me! I love the doors on the front! With them, my dog - Ruben - doesnt have the opportunity to even temp himself with a pony leg. 🤣 I do think I’m wanting a different set up for them though.

Sunrise Song ☀️🎶

The newest addition to my collection & my 2nd Unicorn. 🩷 I’ve been looking at her on eBay for a few months, reluctant to spend the $15 on her (Ik I’m frugal🥴) & bam there she was. 417 flea markets are the best.

She is honestly in great condition, I just had to brush her mane a bit & clean her up. I was out again this morning with my dad, since Saturday is “Dad&Daughter Funday”

He found her. She was $5 - no way she wasn’t coming home with me today. 😝

Yesterday, my best friend gave me 2 ponies. Her mom found a box of old toys in their attic & wanted her to go through it.

She found Pinky Pie & Razzaroo in the box & just gave them to me yesterday when I picked her up from work. I was so surprised & happy to have 2 girls I didn’t have already!

I have the sweetest best friend ever…

This is her Pinky Pie from when she was a girl. She was going through a box at her moms & came across 2 ponies.

Upon finding them, she thought of me & set them aside. When I picked her up from work today, she gave them to me & I was so surprised! Excited to have a head turner Pinky Pie, & knowing she’s from my best friend in the world, makes her even better. 🩷💛🩵

Living in the 417 — we have tons of good thrift stores here in my city! Today, on my dad & I’s 3rd stop of the day, I found Soda Float!!! I was so happy to pick up 2 ponies with him today, & while I bought this one for myself, she’s special now. 🩷🥤

She’s not really rootbeer scented anymore, but she’s also almost 20 years old so I couldn’t be happier with her condition ❤️

Today, my dad & I got out together & went thrifting. I was, of course, on the hunt for g3 ponies. At the end of our first flea market, he spotted hair sticking out of a tub that looked like pony hair…. & it was pony hair!

Welcome Bowtie to the Jay’s collection. She’s in beautiful condition, has her foot magnet, & is the first pony my dad has bought me since I was a little girl. All of my ponies are special, but she means a lot to me now. 💜🎀🩵

I received Breezie today in the mail. I had a $10 off Mercari coupon, making her .30 cents total!

She’s honestly way more beautiful than expected. I love finding ponies in the wild, but it’s also fun getting to pick the one I want out. 🍃💛

I was out last night and while searching through a box of children’s toys at the local Council of the Blind - I found Sunny Daze! I cleaned her up with magic eraser & combed her mane really good & wallah — she’s perfect.

Yesterday, I was out with my boyfriend & found Glitterbelle - Actually - He did! This Glitterbelle seems to be a different color than whats on strawberry reef.com

Can anyone shed some light as to why she is not purple with glitter? I love her the way she is, I just find that to be unusual!

She is my first transparent pony & it was so cool to find her in the wild! We have a PLETHORA of flea markets in my city, & I always feel so blessed to find these gals in the wild.

It’s also extremely refreshing to be in a relationship with someone who is also a collector of many things. He just gets it.. My collections include American Girl Dolls, Pez dispensers, & now Generation 3 My Little Ponies! American Girl & MLP were so close to my heart as a little girl, it’s so fun to have them as an adult! I’ll be 25 this year, & I’ve never met anyone like my boyfriend in the sense that he has his many many Dragon Ball Z / SH FigureArts action figures - & he has so many Star Wars/Lord Of the Rings ones too. He is the coolest guy I know. So happy to have him.

I did a poll a few weeks back asking who everyone thought should be my first yellow pony — Meriweather was picked but fate brought me Pretty Pop! I found her today at the flea market, & I about screamed. Was lacking a yellow pony 💛

After a week or 2 of being in a pony drought - I was out today & found Strawberry Swirl! What a beauty. I love finding ponies that need to be saved in the wild! 🍓💫

Awh love finding ponies in the wild! In this case - I found my first Unicorn - Sweetie Belle -💖 she’s almost perfect. Only took a little alcohol to remove the blue marks. She’s my first find of the new year!
