Jeany Mae Aves Sialza (maria) was born on January 12,2000, in Buhangin Pag-asa, Davao City, Philippines which is new part of Downtown area in Davao. Maria is the fourth child of Jesus Rama Sialza and Marilou Aves Sialza, she has three older brothers, Jemar, jason, and Jake sialza. Her mother was a Barangay Health Worker in Cabantian area, and her father was a bus driver, but unfortunately her father died when she was just one year old. She never saw and knew her father well because he had lost them early. Maria grew up without a father, and her mother was their only father and a mother as well. In 2005, Maria was five years old and her mother noticed that she had seen her father even though is was dead, her mother wondered and might just imagine it. A few months later, Maria become ill and was rushed to the hospital to check on her condition, and the doctor explained that she had no disease and nothing could be seen in the laboratory tests her doctor had given her. Her mother wondered why she didn’t see the results of the lab test, they took her to the hospital because she was dying, but they couldn’t do anything but go home because there was no disease seen in her doctor said. Her mother thinks of bringing her to the alley to treat her and look her condition, and why she suddenly disappears without any disease. The herbalist explained to Maria’s mother that she had a third eye and that she was get sick without reason because she had seen her father, and thus she saw and felt her father’s presence, because her father was not ready to die because on that time Maria was very young and her father did not want to leave his children. Maria is dreamed by her father, because her father wants to a daughter so when Maria came Into the life of the Sialza couple they were very happy because they had a daughter and Mr. Sialza said to his wife that “ I can now disappear into the world, because I have a daughter, and I look like her and I want to call her Jeany Mae.” (J-Jesus M-Marilou this is what Maria’s real name means.) Her mother wept and she knew what the herbalist wanted to explain that Maria got sick for no reason, because she could see her father even though he was dead Maria still felt his presence. So her mother decided to cover Maria’s third eye, so that what had happened to her would not be repeated. They went to her father’s grave and offered flowers and lit a candle, then prayed and talked to her deceased father the might continue to be at peace and that his soul would be at peace. On May 5, 2001, Her father died in an accident. Her father was driving a bus and suddenly stopped in the middle of their trip, and stopped until the passengers got off the bus, and the gun was pointed at her father’s head and shot him in the head and chest, and they poured oil burned it with her father. This happened in Banaybanay Davao Oriental. Maria’s mother couldn’t believe what had happened to her father. Mr. Sialza was only 34 years old he died. Maria is currently studying at Davao Doctors College Inc. and is now in his second year of college in the bachelor of science degree in psychology. In 2016 Maria was a graduate of Cabantian National High School. And in 2017 she attended Senior High School at Rizal Memorial Colleges, Jaena street, Torres. And her strand was Science and technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM). When she were in high school she wanted to take a BSN course, but the tuition was expensive and her mother couldn’t afford it so she chose another course that her mother could afford. And she chose one of the things she wanted to get in college, a bachelor of science degree in psychology. When she was in Senior high school three courses were on her list primarily BSN, BSCA, and BSPSYCH, but eventually she chose BS psychology as her college degree. She is happy with her course even though she may not be able to handle it well, and she does not give up on things that are difficult for her to study. And soon after she graduated in college, she wants to take a boars exam and get her license to become a professional psychometrician and if she has enough knowledge she will want to study again to get the master’s degree. January 2019, one of Maria’s happiest days since she was able to board a plane, throughout her life she now experiences the chance to board a plane and get to another place. She is grateful for the opportunity given to her to attend a seminar on psychology courses. January 23, 2019 Maria travels to manila with her professor and classmates. They joined the Psychological Association of the Philippines Junior Affiliates (PAPJA) and it was held at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City, Manila on January 24, 2019. They come to many places after their two-day seminar, they went to different areas in manila. At the National University, old manila, fort Santiago, and they went to one of the majors malls in manila the grand mall Venice canal and mall of Asia. This inspired Maria because she learned so much about her course, she was able to travel to different places and she enjoyed the opportunity given to her, she really enjoyed the opportunity to go there because it only happened once in her life. Many of the lessons that Maria brought home to her family and especially to her classmates, as she was given the opportunity to share with her classmates of what she had learned there. “There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.” - Maria’s motivational quote Now Maria is trying her best to pass all the subjects and finish her studies, so that she can pay all the efforts and sacrifices from her mother. Maria wanted nothing else but to raise her family.
