Just to let you know that the Leipa lords aren't the only ones with this yellow/black combo.

I'm actually working on the whole genealogy of the house with all the family members, but I thought I could post this basic overview of the families.

I used the czech names, but I think they are recognizable enough. If something is unclear, let me know.

Also, please take this with a grain of salt. I might have a dozen of herladry books, but I'm no expert. Aslo personal coats of arms of some members could get even more confusing and specific, and not match with the coat of arms of their branch of family. For example, there are a ton of period examples of Leipa seals without the cushion under the carp.

no but you have no idea the nostalgia-punch this little easter egg threw straight in my face. when I was a child we always used to build these little houses and even little villages out of twigs, bark, lots of moss and so on. i truly have no idea if it is a regional thing, but the few times I mentioned it to friends now that I'm an adult (who are all from different regions in my country), they didn't do this or knew about it. even when i google the term we used for it back then, i don't get any results. i grew up in a small town directly at the czech border in germany, so maybe that's the explanation. but this feels so special to my heart right there
