this is an up close image of the piezo disc that I had soldered to a guitar jack so that I could connect it to an amp so that when the strings vibrated It would create a variety of deep and high pitched sounds.

so this is a track I created to be played in the background while I composed a piece of music on by broom cello, unfortunately I didn't end up using it as it was drowning out the music that was being composed.

so for my end of 2nd semester exhibition I was given this small space to place my art work into, a lot of problems came with this space as most of the time objects were being taken and put back into this room so work was constantly being knocked and moved and other people thought that the room was just a storage area for the clutter they had in their rooms, so I had to move many objects out of the space from time to time, but despite this I thought that my piece worked well as I allowed other students to have a go at playing and some of the tutors also found it very interesting.

bits of information from the crit with the man himself.

he talks about how his gallery space doesn't just rely on the money the arts council gives towards the space for it to stay open he talks about how other things are needed for the space to stay open, I think he believes that he cannot just rely on the arts council to fund this gallery. he also goes on to talk about how he has a gallery in Rome and another gallery in Glasgow as the they are his favourite places in the world, he says that both Rome and his hometown Glasgow are full of rich history contributing to the arts.

he also goes on to mention that both cities have a large influx of artist and art practices and that each artist bring something new to each of the galleries, in my opinion this a great way of having a constant audience as they are going to these galleries to see the ever changing pieces of work. from what I think I understand about why he had his galleries built in Glasgow and Rome is that I believe most people would think it is strange and overlook that its actually quite a good idea to have these galleries in two of the most historical cities that contribute a lot of their history to the arts.

Again a use of reflection using some of my photos from a festival I wanted to make a strange collection of photos so my audience would express what they thought about the images
