Kiyo

Yukihiro Rubio or popularly known as "Kiyo" is a singer, rapper and song writer here in Philippines. At the age of 18, Kiyo has made a name for himself among the independent musicians of the Philippines. Known for his signature emotional and Lo Fi style, he has made overnight breakthroughs with his inspiring messages and relatable music.

Some of his songs are Ikaw Lang, Nandito Na, G, Pantalan pt. 1, Dantay, Not Even Her and many more. But one of my favorite song of him is the Urong; Sulong. Urong; Sulong is a hip-hop/rap genre music. This song is composed and made by kiyo collaborating with Allison Shore and was released in 18th day of August, 2018.

I see this song as a romantic one. For me, this tells how this guy is really into her girl. I just love the words that they used and the vibe of the music.

In the celebration of 2nd Anniversary of Urong; Sulong, Kiyo and Allison Shore made a band version of it. For me, this art of them was stunning. With a so good singer and rapper and its great piece was impressive.

January 12, 2020 afternoon. As i was comfortably sitting at my bed, watching random videos on my phone, my mom suddenly speak. She says that the Taal volcano started releasing ashes, while turning on the television for us to have the update regards to the eruption. On the news report, it said that the previous eruption of Taal volcano is the year of 1977 and the next one is this eruption happened in january 2020. In the report, they also said that the residents near volcano have to ready for them to evacuate. My family were in Batangas City in that time wherein the other residents near Taal evacuates. Eruption of Taal volcano didn't make us panic and also we're not that calm but instead, we prepared and packed our important things and emergency kits incase of the emergency. And also, my family were always watching news that time for us to be updated.

Days past but still, Taal volcano continues in releasing ashes and for addition of it, the consecutive earthquakes because of the eruption. This causes opening of roads in the other barangay near Taal so that there are still lots of family were in schools and evacuation. For us to help, my family separated other clothes and stuffs to donate to those victims of the eruption. We cooked soups for a family, and me and my sister also became a volunteer on our school. On my Youth for Christ organization, we also donate and helped other schools in accommodating the evacuees.

With those large amount of ashes that Taal volcano releases, everytime we go outside, we're always waring mask because this ashes are unhealthy on our respiratory system; it causes irritation and may also caused pneumonia and other respiratory diseases like asthma.

There are lots of donations that came from other provinces and regions that is a big help for the residents of taal and near there to continue they're living despite lose because of this calamity. With this situation, it is really important that everyone must be always prepared and must know what they were going to do when it comes to this happening. The more we have the knowledge about these things, the more we can avoid lose and damage and most importantly, the more safe we are.
