'jack has family in santa fe' 'jack was born in santa fe' 'jack has some kind of tragic relation to santa fe' no no NO you dont UNDERSTAND jacks santa fe isn't REAL!!! NONE OF IT IS!!! jack yearns for santa fe BECAUSE he has no connection to it!!! he has no expectations of it at all, he just found a place that was as opposite to new york as he could imagine and pinned all his hopes on it, THAT'S THE TRAGEDY OF IT ALL!!! if jack did go to santa fe, he'd realize all too quickly that this was not the fantasy he built up in his head. he will always feel out of place wherever he goes because the thing he's running from is a piece of himself that he has to reckon with, that's the whole point!! family isn't something he'll just stumble upon by chance, it's something he has to be brave enough to make for himself. his santa fe could've been ANYWHERE. thats why "i'm dead if i can't count on you today" was so gut-wrenching, because he CAN'T count on santa fe. ever. IT'S NOT REAL.
supernatural episode where castiel gets stuck only speaking ennochian and deans like babygirl i have no clue what you’re saying but you’re so damn pretty who cares
hey, do you all remember that time disney made an entire musical about workers unionizing because of unfair labor practices and striking against the evil rich company owners and it being a massive victory when the workers actually won? yeah, disney sure doesn’t.
what i hate most about the dynamic aziraphale and crowley have is the way people somehow always seem to interpret it as crowley loving him more than aziraphale loves him back. and it's sooo frustrating because yes crowley is more open and honest about how he feels but aziraphale shows it, reeks of it. literally one of the things that fuel his internal conflict is that he cares for and trusts and loves crowley so much that for the first time something actually rivals his devotion to heaven, so much that he agrees to the fucking arrangement because he trusts crowley more, so much that he doesn't even know where to put it or what to do with it or how to admit to it
every single time he "chooses heaven" it's because he's allowed himself to sink too deeply into this love and that's what springs the catholic guilt into action. the final scene isn't even aziraphale choosing heaven over crowley, but him saying i can make heaven good enough for you, and he's so fucking happy because he thinks he's finally found a loophole, and when crowley says no he literally thinks he's the one being rejected. quite literally the entire show is aziraphale trying to find a way around it and explain it away and make excuses but my brother in christ he loves him so much he can't even bear to face the magnitude of it
I’m sorry but if you think Aziraphale broke Crowley’s heart and broke up with him, please watch both seasons a few more times and think a bit more critically because it takes a minute of deeper thinking to see Aziraphale also confessed his feelings and begged Crowley not to leave him.
Crowley was the one to go for a kiss, just because that’s how things are always between them. He is the one who does the final push.
Aziraphale was the one who planned a whole fucking ball just to ask Crowley to dance with him. He is the one who thinks of them as “us” throughout the season.
As usual Aziraphale planned the seeds and Crowley harvested.
If I had a nickel for every time a gay angel was sent to super something because he was in love with his best friend, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice
happy pride month to chad and ryan, the lil gay cowboy and roman in the night at the museum trilogy, and every man who played volleyball in top gun (1986).
Davey stressed out his mind: everybody's beat up, some of the kids are seeing double. we have no idea where Jack is, he might be dead and technically that leaves you in charge, so, what's our next move?
Race, also stressed out his mind: everybody up on the tables!
