The idea of raph getting stuck with Angie on 2003 verse is really interesting to me

I imagine that while running after the twins he looked behind to see Angie had stopped to paint and decided to just watch him (Maybe even join him) that is until hob to come and see two free meals.

Hob quickly grabs Angie only for Raph big brother instincts to kick in and immediately attack him but Old hob overpowers him and hurting him (Not severely to the point of passing out but still leaving bruises). That’s when Angie’s initially shock turn into full on panic, unlocking his Hamato Nimpo

That’s when there transported to the 2003 verse. Out of shock Old hob drops Angie and Raph quickly grabs him escaping trough the sewage (like in your animatic). Once he thinks there far enough. They get out of the sewage to look for refuge and to process everything that just happened.

Eventually, Raphie hears the cries along side another soothing voice, only to find a pretty big spikey injured turtle comforting a little yellow-Polka dot crying turtle. And by the looks of it the Big turtle isn’t really happy about his presence.

And know raphie is the happy father of two.

Sorry if this got long, it kinda got out of hand, but like I said: the idea of Raph getting stuck with Angie really interested me 😅

oooh that's really cool! Raphie would LOVE having Raph around. And Raph having Raphie to emulate? He'd learn quick how to scare off thugs with intimidation alone lol. But i could see Raph still not at all hiding his 'soft side' b/c Raphie (though he very much hides his) would never want his kids to hide an aspect of themselves.

also just Raphie bringing home two baby turtles is just hilarious. Like one was a little odd, but somehow he brought home two? where did he find 2?

And one of them bites lol : )

but also, that leaves the disaster twins without anyone to keep them in check, which may not be healthy for NYC as a whole lol. the chaos the disaster twins would cause would be legendary. they would have certainly earned their title as 'disaster twins'.

This comic is older, but clean enough that I didn’t feel the need to redraw! Darn perfectionism lol

So the ways that different animals communicate varies vastly between them. For example, rats hear things on a spectrum slightly above human hearing, and there are recent studies touching on how with special microphones, scientists have discovered that rats squeak a lot to one another in high pitches to communicate between them like their own little secret language! While there are significantly less studies on turtle behavior the same can be said for them, as baby turtles will make low noises that signal when the others of their nest are hatching, and in general they hear much lower frequencies on account of their scale covered eardrums and need for underwater listening.

So with that, how do the animal traits of Splinter and his kids line up?

They probably have a base hearing range similar to a humans, but the turtles can probably hear and speak lower sounds than Splinter and vice versa. What shenanigans could they get up to?

Cue cussing in a frequency range that Splinter shouldn’t be able to hear…

Inspired by 1) my childhood dog, who would immediately start chewing faster if anyone noticed him eating non edible things and 2) my brother, who ate a beetle that one time for no other reason than to prove he could.

We also had a moth infestation once when I was a kid, and every time I went to check if the cereal was covered in moths or not, that same brother would tease me to eat it anyways for the extra protein >:p

My childhood dog was a big ol’ Rottweiler! Lovely dog, so gentle even when my ten year old self was trying to pry paper towels out from between his teeth lol

Mikey, on his path to becoming the greatest mystical warrior in the world. He’s already very powerful with his mystics, but still in training. The youngest of the brothers, but never mistake him for the weakest. He’s the one who keeps people in line if they do something wrong, known everywhere for his cooking, his power, and his kindness. Two-faced when it comes to his brothers, to the twins, he’s a demon in the flesh, but to the eldest, he’s the most innocent being alive.

I used to be so scared of my roommates cat before we moved in together, but now the little guy absolutely loves me. He is obsessed with cuddles. He lays on all my stuff. He trips me by rubbing up on my legs wherever I go. He hangs out with me all the time, it’s so cute.

Turns out my man just had a resting bitch face and didn’t want me to leave whenever I would visit, who knew lol

I doodled these while watching the show, I absolutely love their character dynamics.

Because they don’t exactly have a stated species, I suppose they’re red eared sliders because of how those tend to be the default answer.

Raph deserves some teasing too, even if he doesn’t get as many nicknames as his brothers. Leo does not actually want to know when the next issue of that story comes out because Mikey was actually reading the season 3 finale and the arc after is Leo’s mental health taking a nosedive.

Donatello and Leonardo have something in common, they both asked their family to die.

After Same As It Never Was, there’s no way that Don didn’t have some idea of what Leo was going through. Knowing that your family has so much faith in you as to follow through with a plan that might not have a way out, that can be terrifying. Even if there’s no other choice.

The great thing about trust though, is that it can go both ways. Just as they are there to follow Leo, his brothers are also there to catch him when he falls.

After the events of Exodus part 2, where Leo ordered his brothers to die in order to stop the Shredder, he’s got something he needs to get off his chest. Fortunately, Don stumbles upon his late night brooding.

My online friends and me were talking about the little things that partners do for each other to show love some (a lot of) time ago. So I sketched this little comic~ Yes, it is an article about duckies! 🦆

I can't draw very well, but I like drawing animals, so I'm gonna figure something out because I heavily headcanon that the turtles have some kind of beak (maybe just a harder "lip" in the front) and they need to be occasionally trimmed because they use their teeth, not their beaks. (Donnie's the exception, a softshell turtle's beak is kinda like pseudo teeth on them.)

Raph enjoys the bonding experience of having his beak trimmed (often done with a dremel) and even requests patterns to be carved into it (ridges, hooks, etc) to help him eat (poor teeth quality, uses his beak more often).

While Leo would rather die than get his beak trimmed, having to be restrained, and only Donnie can do it (sadly, his beak is also quite prominent)

And Mikey doesn't care, he does it himself in the bathroom with a nail file if he has to, and occasionally forgets to do it for a while and gets an overgrown beak.

Donnie doesn't have a beak, but his teeth are sharper.

Did I just simply make 2012 & rise crossover? Yes, yes I did!

Did I also add some ✨mystic✨ to it for spice? Yes I absolutely did!!

Am I gonna do this one post and never return to this idea ever again(like I did with my rat au)? I really fucking hope not!!!

The idea itself is that one of 12!turtle’s enemy got so fed up with them that they got their hands on some mystic stuff to capture brothers in weapons and banish them to another dimension. Anything to “never see their stupid turtle faces again!”

To everyone’s surprise it actually worked. And unfortunately for turtles …. That’s how one, what seemed like normal, mission turned into catastrophe. One by one brothers got separated and locked up in their own weapon: Leo in ōdachi, Mickey in kusari-fundo, Raph in tonfās and Donnie in some strange bo stuff (I have no idea what the name of the weapon was in first episode, if you know tell me) . After this they were just dumped through the portal in whatever dimension, those bad guys couldn’t care less honestly.

And that’s how 2012 Leo, Raph, Mickey and Donnie got into Rise!dimension. But…!!! They happened to appear in Hidden city long before Draxum’s mutant warriors were even in plans. Weapons were passed from hand to hand, but never stayed long with one holder. Different yokai complained about seeing and hearing strange things the more they used the weapons. But with every next holder it was getting more and more obvious that these weapons were not just haunted, but possessed mystic powers. With this rumours going around Hidden city about ōdachi that can creat portals and tonfās that make you bigger and stronger, that’s how Baron Draxum found out about them and decided that he wanted them in his collection.

And would you believe me when I tell that that’s where Draxum got the idea for his human-destruction warriors to be turtles? When he tried to use kusari-fundo and saw a vision of a ninja-looking turtle yokai that was yelling at him to be freed and was challenging him to a fight! He was mesmerised by this creature’s body structures, the possibility of a shell to be a natural protection, ability to breathe underwater. It was a perfect choice of an animal for a warrior to be mutated from!

That’s where 13 years later, our rise!bois are coming into view! Story goes the same as in the “Mystic mayhem” episode, except…. When rise!turtles tried to use their new mystic weapon and it was malfunctioning, it was mostly cause it was their first time using it, but also cause 12!brothers were being kinda salty about not being used for over a decade and they were trying to get some fun out of all this situation. After all, who could have known that their new holders are gonna finally help them reunite with each other. Not right away, but in time…

And if you’re asking yourself right now “But what about Donnie?” Well…remember how he didn’t take the “glowy weapon”? Yeah, at some point in the story they’ll have to go back to Draxum’s destroyed lab and hope that 12!Donnie and stuff he’s in did survive the explosion.
