Still. Joker is old enough to be her grandfather. I know that may be not a problem to some people or a big deal to others, but it hurts me. It just feels wrong.

I got into college at the age of 19, so Punchline may be between her Freshman and junior year since she met Joker at the studio when she was in high school.

I have other problems with her character, but this really killed the remaining hope I had for DC Comics.

Yes, I get there are villains who are villains just because they’re evil. That’s what the Joker is. Palpatine. Melkore and Sauron. Bullseye. Homelander.

But when you write a character so bland and tasteless, using nothing but undeserved plot armor, stupid logic, don’t add any quirks or relatable traits that humanizes them, and making the other characters who are normally logical and talented dumb and fumble easily when the antagonist is on the screen (that scene where she turned Dick Grayson evil)

AND just using shock value and edginess for their personality just to push the point across that they’re a “oh god! She got that kid sniped for views!” type of villain that somehow earns a cult following in-game and in real life
