tbh it's kinda hilarious how luke arnold keeps getting "haunted" by black sails, especially in these past two years. first he stars in a series where the main focus of the story is a character whose real name is "flynt", then said series gets renewed and instead of calling it "scrublands season 2" the creators decide to call it "scrublands: silver" and as if that wasn't funny enough the guy goes on starring in another series where his character has a complex borderline obsessive dynamic with an anti-imperialist captain who swore vengeance on the british empire after they took everything from him. that's genuinely amazing if you think about it. i wonder if he does it on purpose.

Inspired by that one shot that was cut from season 4 of Black Sails, the one where Eleanor's ghost appears on Roger's ship (the Eurydice!!) in the background—I've made my own edits.
