1. Triemli Ophthalmologie Update 7. Oktober 2021 - Focusthema "UVEITIS" from Matthias Becker on Vimeo.

A winter love for life - Bakhmaro/Georgia: The second season from WhiteHearts on Vimeo.
Downsizing is not exactly the motto of our times. If you are faced with the choice to incorporate the XXL or the normal Hamburger, you usually opt for the oversized meatball - especially since the price is often only marginally higher. Whether "All you can eat", Motor performance of the new SUV, the latest smartphone, tuns of the impact drill, height of the Christmas tree or prominence of the suburban villa - Kingsize dominates our thinking and Big usually ranks Small. But you can not only tap into this ongoing "think-big-trap" in business or social life, but also in the mountains. Especially in Georgia, if you have the choice whether you prefer to travel in the Big Caucasus or in the Little Caucasus. If we had been given the choice of whether we would prefer to travel in the Big Caucasus in the north of the country with its imposing mountain ranges with fat five-thousander peaks like Elbrus, Schchara and Kazbek, or instead want to get to know the Little Caucasus in southern Georgia, whose geography rather reminiscent of contemplative mid-Alpine regions, our decision would probably have been clear for the Greater Caucasus. Because one thing is clear: think big is especially true in relation to mountains. Fortunately, Ingo Schlutius of powderproject.ch has left us no choice. Because he has deliberately placed his catskiing spot in Bakhmaro in the Little Caucasus after evaluating long-term precipitation data from old military weather stations. The tiny village abandoned in the winter in the Little Caucasus simply gets bigger quantities of snow every year. Sometimes downsizing is just an upgrate. Only our love for the village Bakhmaro is damn big and gets bigger every year. Presumably, we will visit this incredible powderspot in the Little Caucasus every year from now on. Bakhmaro is our winter love for life.
Many thanks for the music to "Alpines" and their great song "Lights".

Kim Cesarion - Undressed (Cover by Astrid Smeplass & Julie Bergan) from Fred Fume on Vimeo.
Made a short and simple music video for two girls from Norway. It's a cover of the song "Undressed" and is originally by Kim Cesarion. I am very pleased with the lighting that we had in the end of the session. I think I managed to capture some of the atmosphere that was there. And as always, i'm very impressed by how good the camera performs :)
The video is shot on a Panasonic GH3 w/ 20mm 1.7 lens. Edited with Premiere CC.

7 Things I Learned in 7 Years of Reading, Writing, and Living from Dissolve on Vimeo.
How do you keep your center solid as you continue to evolve? When Brain Pickings turned 7, Maria Popova stopped to consider that question. Her labor of love had grown from a weekly email she sent to seven friends to a treasure trove of curiosities, creativity, and inspiration beloved by millions. What did she learn in that time? In 7 Things I Learned in 7 Years of Reading, Writing, and Living, Maria shares her reflections on living a life that fulfills your heart, mind, and spirit.
Adapted from Maria Popova's October 2013 essay: bit.ly/1xFw9io. From the original essay: “I share these here not because they apply to every life and offer some sort of blueprint to existence, but in the hope that they might benefit your own journey in some small way.”

RUSUTSU Ep1 - YUKI [SNOW] from SnowLocals on Vimeo.
Yuki is the Japanese word for snow.
Any attempt to portray Rusutsu without mention of the Yuki that falls here would be a very incomplete illustration of Rusutsu, Hokkaido, or even Japan. The snow is why we go to Japan in the first place, thus in the snow is where our video journey to Rusutsu begins.
This is why we dedicate the first episode solely to the incredibly deep and unbelievably light snow that buries Rusutsu each winter.
This is the first reason we travel to Japan; to find that feeling we are looking for when we chase powder.
