Family
He replied (Jesus), "My mother and brothers are those who hear God's word and put into practice." Luke 8:21 NIV So yeah... I feel like I can accept this life principle now. Even the family that I grew up with is not really my family if they don't hear and put God's word into practice. And I am thankful to God because He has given me a wonderful new family in Christ. 👨👩👧👦

Friends
You are my friends if you do what I command. John 15:14 NIV When I read this passage, there's a sudden joy in my heart as I felt Jesus just taught a great principle in life that I can hold on to and I can live by, specially in choosing friends. Wow that's a very long sentence there. 😀 But seriously, I had many friends if my definition of it is of this world. Now, as I re-assess my friendship based on Jesus' way, I can just count my friends with my fingertips. ☝✌🤘 And that is totally fine and alright because Jesus has called me friend. John 15:15 NIV 😊

God’s mercy. Parang wala lang kung papakinggan. Parang okay lang, God’s mercy… Ano ngayon?! Pero hindi eh. Kelangan ko tong pagisipan mabuti. Hindi sya wala lang eh. Wala cguro ako ngayon dito kung hindi naawa sakin si Lord. Cguro malakas pa rin akong maginom ngayon. Yosi dito, yosi jan. Doobie pa minsan minsan. Party here and everywhere. Dami ko na cgurong tato sa katawan. Di ko alam kung may matino pa kong work. Cguro nagkaanak na ko ng di ko naman talaga ginusto. Cguro wala tong blog post na to…
God’s mercy. Naturo ‘to sa church at pinadapa pa kami to offer ourselves as living sacrifice sabi sa Romans 12:1 NIV.
Thank You Po Lord! 🙏

Wicked
Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom - both young and old - surrounded the house. They called to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so we can have sex with them.” Genesis 19:4-5 NIV
Sodom is the place where Lot has chose to settle down because of its promising riches. But little did he know or I’m not sure if he already knew that all men - young and old - from Sodom were extremely wicked and he still choose that place. And now he is reaping the consequences of his decision. Problematic and chaotic neighborhood.
There were times in my life that I know and sure of that are wrong but still pushes through because of the promising but temporary pleasure. But little did I know that there are consequences in every actions specially to those of which were against God and does not glorify His name.
God is good but He is just. The Lord blesses but He can also destroy those who are wicked. I pray that we may all come to Jesus for He is migthy to save. 🙏

Be Bold
Then Abraham spoke up again: "Now that I have been so bold as to speak to the Lord, though I am nothing but dust and ashes Genesis 18:27 NIV When I read this passage before, I thought, how dare Abraham ask redundant questions to God? Is he nuts?! Haha! But as I grow more and more in my relationship with God. I realized I am the one who is nuts and not Abraham. God uses Abraham to show us that we can be very bold in asking Him tough questions. Even if we ask the same question over and over again. God is patient. He will give us the same answer over and over again until we understand. But we just have to be mindful about our boldness. Be bold but be humble too. Know that we are nothing but dust and ashes. And we need God in our life.

Be Like Abraham
For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just, so that the Lord will bring about for Abraham what he has promised him. Genesis 18:19 NIV God chose Abraham. A man He knew that is able to direct his children and his household to keep the way of the Lord. A man God knew that will do what is right and just, so that God can bring to Abraham what He has promised. Do we want God to bring His promises upon our life? So let's desire to be a man that will lead and direct our family to keep the way of the Lord. And let's also desire to be a man who will always do what is right and just.

LOL
Abraham and Sarah were already old and well advanced in years, and Sarah was past age of childbearing. So Sarah laughed to herself as she thought, "After I am worn out and my master is old, will I now have this pleasure?" Genesis 18:11-12 NIV Reality check, there are times where we compare God's abilities to the facts of this world. And even laugh about it just like when Sarah laughed herself out when she heard about having their own child due to the fact that they were already old. But that reflects how deep our relationship with God is. How deep our understanding with God's character and sovereignty. Then the Lord said to Abraham, "Why did Sarah laugh and say, 'Will I really have a child, now that I am old?'. Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return to you at the appointed time next year and Sarah will have a son." Genesis 18:13-14 NIV Know that God knows and hears everything. He knows our hearts and He knows if we are laughing at Him. Whoa! So here's a bold statement from God for those who laugh at His abilities, "Is there anything too hard for the Lord?". Remember God is almighty. We cannot compare Him to the facts of this world. Trust His promises. Know that He is God.

Take Advice
For the lack of guidance a nation falls, but many advisers make victory sure. Proverbs 11:14 NIV The way of a fool seems right to him, but a wise man listens to advice. Proverbs 12:15 NIV Pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is found in those who take advice. Proverbs 13:10 NIV First of all, thank you Lord for giving me the opportunity to experience "pamamanhikan". Thank you Lord for my Mame and Dade whi supported me and traveled with me and my love Nikki to officially have our parents meet face-to-face as a sign of respect. But oh boy! I never thought it would be this way. It turns out to be a super interesting phase of our life. So here it goes! The ultimate goal of our engagement is to have plenty of time planning ahead for our wedding. And we praise God for it went well according to His will and that enables us to start making our wedding plans together. But definitely we don't want to cause any disrespect to our families and relatives. That's for sure! However, when we laid down our plans in front of our families during "pamamanhikan", we got lots of interesting suggestions, concerns and facts. Specially when it comes to our desired time, venue and weather. Oops! And the discussion even heated up when we revealed that we already settled the downpayment on the place. Yikes! To a point where the relatives are asking why still continue making suggestions if all has already been planned and they obviously felt being bypassed. Sad. So here I am. Had my proverbs night marathon as I can't get back to sleep and I decided to call on my top advicer. God almighty! I felt like I needed more wisdom and could there be any better way than this?! Result: Get more advisers. Listen to their advices. Remove pride but only take Godly advice.
