Celebrate and support four years of hands-on creative community radio with WGXC friends and family while enjoying and a Cornelius Applejack punch courtesy of Harvest Spirits Farm Distillery in Valatie, wine, and an extraordinary selection of hors-d'oeuvres by Chefrissa, all at Stair Galleries. Emceed by WGXC's Station Manager, Lynn Sloneker, the evening will honor Alan Skerrett, whose contributions to the station as advisor and programmer since the beginning are jubilee-worthy. Also on the party roster, will be the premiere of a filmstrip by the ultra-talented Brian Dewan, which tells the WGXC story; a sure delight. Other treats include the long awaited unveiling of the new WGXC website, and fresh station logo designed courtesy of the skillful Alan Coon. With a sponsorship by the Columbia County Sons and Daughters of Italy in Hudson, and music provided by pianist John Esposito.

Master Class & Concert
Finnish saxophonist Esa Pietila will be returning to Bard College for a concert of free improvisation with violinist/vocalist Rosi Hertlein, bassist Otto Gardner and pianist/drummer John Esposito Friday November 14 , 8pm in Bard Hall. Admission is free. The musicians will also present a master class from 4:15 -5:30 in Blum N211.

Master Class & Concert
John Esposito taught a masterclass and coached an ensemble at the Longy Institute, Boston, MA Friday Oct 31 and performed with his trio Saturday November 1 in Pickman Concert Hall. John was joined by bassist Otto Gardner and drummer Peter O'Brien in a program of his original music and reworkings of standards. The teaching events  and concert were hosted by Longy Institute's American Music Program director Peter Cassino.

Woodstock Film Festival Premier of Playing With Parkinson's
Director Burrill Crohn's documentary on the life and work of painter/poet/musician Sangeeta Michael Berardi played to full houses October 16 and October 18, 2014 at the Woodstock Playhouse, Woodstock, NY and Upstate Films in Rhinebeck, NY. In addition to Burrill Crohn and videographer Chris Schiavo, present were musicians associated with the film and the Mr P Sessions CD: producer/pianist John Esposito, violinist/vocalist Rosi Hertlein, vocalist Kendra Shank, reeds player Mitch Kessler, bassist Hilliard Greene, drummer Peter O'Brien and poet Mitch Kessler. Sangeeta appeared at the Upstate Films show via Skype.
