Hey look another late upload! Here’s Revali’s Theme by Medllix played on Woodwinds, pretty appropriate for everyone’s favorite asshole bird!

I will admit, I cried the first time I walked into Rito Village. I did the other three Divine Beasts first and left Vah Medoh for last. No particular reason, that’s just where the game took me. So I didn’t end up on that corner of the map until pretty late in the game. And I guess I should have expected it, seeing as the series has been reusing town themes for for ages, but hearing the beautiful rendition of Dragon Roost hit me like a Moblin throwing a Bokoblin. It’s definitely my favorite town in the whole game, I’d often just go there to idle while looking at the map.

I’ve been having a lot of Link’s Awakening feels lately. Probably cause I have been watching some streams lately. So here’s a cover of Tal Tal Heights by TheOnlyDeerAlive, with some very cool Wind Fish art in the thumbnail.

Oops, the end of the queue snuck up on me again. But technically it’s still Saturday, and Shady Cicada helpfully posted a new BotW cover! How convenient!

So the DLC is out! I haven’t really done much with it myself yet, cause I have to focus on life stuff right now, but I did check out Hero’s Path! I did a pretty good job of covering pretty much all of the map, but it was fun to watch all the plot avoiding and side questing I did. And the search for the Shrine of Dick Rock was just as funny as I imagined it would be :D

I know I just posted Sidon’s Theme, and recently something by Melody Geeks, but this is too cool to pass up! A mash up of Sidon’s Theme and the Vah Ruta Battle, and it is fantastic. Like seriously this might be one of my favorite Breath of the Wild covers ever. Man, I really love the music in this game~

Since I’ve already talked about both my love of Sidon, and how cool the assault on Vah Ruta is... But I’ve thought a lot about how Sidon is totally cool with Link riding on his back, and what that means as far as the relationships between the different races in Hyrule. Cause it’s not just Sidon, Teba is also cool with giving Link a ride in order to take down Vah Medoh. Of course, the divine beasts are special circumstances, but how often does this kinda thing happen? I think about this a lot.

I realized that I didn’t post any remixes after I beat A Link Between Worlds in the big playthrough. What’s up with that? Might as well fix that now, since I found this lovely orchestration of Hilda’s Theme by RebeccaETripp while posting the last one.

ALBW was such a cool game. A Link to the Past was always my favorite Zelda game, followed shortly by Wind Waker and Majora’s Mask, but the big playthrough threw everything for a loop cause I fell in love with Link’s Awakening and then A Link Between Worlds came out. And now there’s Breath of the Wild, so I can’t settle on a favorite anymore. I love them all, even Skyward Sword and The Adventure of Link.

i wrote a big post about why I love Link x “ordinary” Zelda girls who aren’t Zelda but realized I was writing about Hero of Time and Malon who are. not LA’s Link and Marin at all so maybe I’ll post it later Link x Marin is amazing no matter if I understand why or not

Sidon’s Theme by TeraCMusic?! Heck yeah! A little bit of Zelda’s Lullaby in there too, but it’s very good. She is so wonderful at violin~

I know I said Kass is my favorite before, but Sidon is also my favorite. He’s got this wonderful mix of overbearing and enthusiasm that’s just so endearing. I hadn’t seen anything online about him before I met him in game, but I still fell in love instantly. He’s just that wonderful.

A Link Between Worlds remix??? Don’t see those too often! Thankfully Raymusique has got it covered, with this neat orchestration of the Swamp Palace theme.

My blog seems to have gone Zelda again. It’s seriously because I’m updating the queue while watching Zeldathon, so I’m on a bit of a kick. I promise I’ll get back to Star Fox soon!

More Shady Cicada! It’s the Calamity Ganon theme from Breath of the Wild! He shreds it, it’s awesome.

So fun story, it was Shady’s streaming of Breath of the Wild where I first found out that you could deflect Guardian beams. I was about halfway through the game when I was watching him stream a new file, and I had no clue until then. I had just run away before then, or went at them with the Master Sword once I got that. Deflecting is so much better though~

So recently the Pixel Mixers group released a big album of music from the first 4 Zelda games! It’s awesome, I had it on repeat for a few days there. Here’s a cover of Time of Falling Rain from A Link to the Past by Dinnick the 3rd, and I like what he does with such an awesome theme. I am still having a lot of fun posting Breath of the Wild remixes. I’m so glad that the remixing community has embraced this game, despite its soundtrack’s reputation. Anyway, here’s a cover of Hyrule Castle by DSC!

I love how even though I put 250 hours into this game, I’m still finding out about places and characters I’ve never seen before. Like I never realized there was a minigame on Eventide after you get the shrine! And there’s another area I’ve seen in some videos that I have no idea where it is, but it looks cool and I want to see if I can find it sometime when I pick the game up again.
