Caleb:

*slaps roof of Bren "Caleb Widowgast" Aldric Ermendrud* this bad boy can fit so much trauma inside. He became a child soldier, was forced to burn his parents alive, and then got stranded in a mental institution for a decade or so. He still has PTSD when killing people with fire. Does that keep Caleb from ever using fire magic again? By the Traveller, I wish it would. He's... very good with it.

Avdol:

Very cool and smart guy whose power manifests as a fire chicken! He can attack you with flames in many ways, is an expert on Stands (other powers) and serves as a balance for the rest of the cast's shenanigans. Not that Avdol's not capable of being silly, he just has a reputation to uphold.

Phoenix Wright/Miles Edgeworth:

One of the best examples of friends to strangers to “enemies” to lovers. Despite being technically enemies they still help each other through the game. The way they talk to each other is extremely telling of their relationship. You can really just feel the tension between these two. The fact Phoenix becomes a lawyer just to have a chance at seeing Edgeworth again(after knowing him for like a few months when they were kids).The whole “unnecessary feelings” line Edgeworth gives. The unwavering trust Phoenix puts in Edgeworth through the last case of the game.

Bruno Bucciarati/Leone Abbacchio:

After Abbacchio was kicked out of the police force and fell into depression and alcoholism, Bruno pulled him out of the gutter and recruited him into the mafia. Even though Abbacchio hates basically everyone, he still respects Bruno and is insanely devoted to him. He canonically says "I only feel at ease when following the orders of something great and absolute" (the source of my bruabba tag) while Bruno's face is on the screen. When Bruno SPOILERS betrays the boss, END OF SPOILERS Abbachio is the first person to follow him. He says "I've never had a home or a place I've wanted to go. The only time I'm at ease is when I'm with you, Bucciaratti."

Squalo/Tiziano:

They are explicitly canonically a couple, made up of assassins who are part of the mafia's elite guard. Squalo has a magic shark, and Tiziano can make people only tell lies, and so they wreak bloody havoc through the main cast before being defeated, all while cuddling on a rooftop and enjoying the carnage. Their personalities complement each other, with Tiziano being the brains of the operation who keeps Squalo's hot head in check. SPOILERS When Narancia tries to shoot Squalo, Tiziano takes the bullet for him and dies in his arms and it's very sad. END SPOILERS
