Hi guys! Just wanted to give you a heads up that, like last year, starting October first I will be posting Halloween related content! It will still be blog relevant but it will be tagged with ‘Halloween’. Of course I will never post any “screamer videos” or anything of the sort either. I will still be posting my regular content as well but intermingled with the Halloween posts.

I will also be changing my blog theme slightly to match for the month!

A terrifying monster of the deep ocean, the Drakken is a combination of everything there is to fear from a deadly sea dragon and everything there is to fear from the tentacled kraken.

I originally created the Drakken for a sea dragon contest on DeviantArt. I wanted to go in a different direction than I normally would for a sea dragon, and so I thought about what other sea monster I could draw inspiration from and I immediately thought of the Kraken.

There is over a meter of wire inside this creature making up the “skeleton” of this sculpture, and each one of the suckers was hand placed. 

I’ve used the Drakken to hold my business cards at conventions for the last few years, because I was too attached to sell him. But it is finally time and I’m ready to let this terrifying monstrosity go to a new home!
