I love that most (if not all, I’m not done with the episode yet) of Jose Chung’s From Outer Space is from Scully’s perspective because first of all it’s like a precursor to Bad Blood but also it means that every time there’s a classic Mulder just saying some bullshit moment it cuts to a shot of Scully making this face 🙄. The equivalent to her crossing her arms and shaking her head while she tells the story to show that she doesn’t agree

i loveeee queap fanart because dean & scott have such characteristic almost cartoonish faces and i love seeing how people adapt them to their styles. i love seeing how the cutesy styles still depict their wrinkles and noses and thick eyebrows and body hair vs how the more stylized realism types depict them. ive never seen anybody really like sand them down to look more "plain" so to speak ykwim? so cool so nice so refreshing

I mean. Credit to the writers of this episode for attempting to pull a classic existential monologue summarizing the theme of the episode gambit. Too bad just minutes ago Mulder and Scully were adorably vaguely menaced by a bunch of street cats. The true curse really was the failure to understand that there are some powers that should not be disturbed

Why the hell did they put Mulder on the witness stand for the Pusher case. Beyond the fact that he literally just got brought onto the case like three days ago, you shouldn’t call on Fox “Shameless Wild Card” Mulder to be a witness for anything because there’s not a force on earth that will stop him from confidently asserting things like, “your honor, the client is clearly a centuries old liver eating creature who hibernates every fifty years and can stretch his body to fit through any crack”

Onto Pusher. I love that they made Mr. Pusher a wannabe samurai who uses Japanese words like they’re some kind of secret code. So fitting for the character to be an absolutely pathetic weaboo shit

A little sweet that even in an episode where they are astrologically influenced to hate on each other, Mulder still defends Scully when she’s being snippy to the local authorities “if agent scully sounds skeptical/impatient it’s because the fbi has debunked x y and z” and “she tends to be rather rigid, but rigid in a wonderful way”. Born to be a lover boy forced to be a hater girl.
