It's that time again, Remedy fans: Fandom Trumps Hate 2025 is just about to begin.
If you've never participated in FTH, this could be your year. It's an online auction for fanworks, with all proceeds going to small, progressive non-profits. You can offer a wide variety of work, like:
written fanworks (fic, poetry, remixes, etc.)
digital art, which includes but is not limited to gifsets, manips, moodboards, etc.
podfics
fanvids (including fancams)
fan labor, which includes but is not limited to betaing, brit/japan/america/other region-picking, or offering specialist expertise.
You can even offer physical crafts, as part of the bazaar. You can learn more about FTH here on their about page, or more about the auction specifics on their detailed FAQ page. You can also follow the auction's updates directly here on Tumblr: @fandomtrumpshate.
This year, I'd love to see Remedy fanworks from all corners of our little fandom up for auction. Come join the Editor and I as we commit to several auctions for the good cause of your choice, and/or bid on creators you love to receive a personal gift(s) for your donation(s). (In case you missed it, last year, we gave gifts to three wonderful bidders. Will you be one of the next?)
This is the 2025 FTH Calendar:
Monday, January 20th: creator signups open for both the auction and the crafts bazaar
Sunday, February 2nd: creator signups close
Friday, February 21st: browsing period begins, crafts bazaar announcement goes live
Tuesday, February 25th, 8am ET: bidding opens
Saturday, March 1st, 8pm ET: auction bidding closes
Monday, March 10th: craft stalls close
Wednesday, March 12: proof of donations due
