That was a very good moment for Aaron, who I still think is underutilised. But I love how they haven't made Tim invincible unlike ahem ahem certain other characters

I honestly love when they show us glimpses to Tim NOT being “super cop” as Lucy calls him. I know there’s discourse over whether he actually endangered that boy to help Lucy (I definitely think it’s more nuanced than that, but yes his focus was keeping Lucy safe) but I think the bigger example was when he saw the gun. Aaron immediately began trying to diffuse the situation, Tim did not. Tim went full force defensive mode. In the end, Aaron was the one who got him to give up the gun. It felt like a nice look back to season one Tim. He still has room for improvement. He’s still human.

i think the thing i love the most about tim bradford is just how much his energy has changed over the years. like. his vibe in the first few episodes was definitely that of an asshole and bigot on the downlow, but now his vibe is just. he’s a wet cat. he is a malewife. he is a sass king. he’s a nine year old boy who will only eat his broccoli after making it everyone else’s problem. he is god. he is a wreck. he’s a silly goofy prankster. he’s an 80 year old man. he could kill a man with his hands. he is a pouty baby. he has seen war. he can’t stomach a mushroom pancake
