Hi, my name is Ellie and I am bisexual and non-binary. I have been struggling to pay bills as of late as I live off a very fixed income. I receive disability benefits, but have many expenses including rent, hydro, food, laundry, and my phone bill. After everything is paid, I have nothing left over to spend on myself. However, this month I was unexpectedly charged $70 in withdrawal fees from my bank. Furthermore, I had to start paying back my student loan since I’ve been on leave from university for a year.

Unfortunately, this meant I had to use my overdraft to cover the extra expenses. I’m in the negative of $150 altogether and I’d like to have some extra spending money for myself if I can. So any extra money I get will go towards buying myself a few new outfits as I have outgrown mostly everything I own. the way jung soo hyun outsold every character to ever exist actually (in just 30-40 mins!!) … like everything we learn about him, both first and secondhand, makes up such a complicated and layered person, and that really just speaks testament to how he was written? 

through 2 simple interactions, both with the man at the beginning who ended up attacking him with the knife and with ian, he emphasises that he will care for them and take care of their health, showing the audience how genuinely committed he is to being a good doctor and how important his job is to him. the way he’s shy around ian, like when he ducks his face before asking him to play him something or when he shyly smiles when ian tells him he’s the most beautiful and lovable person he’s ever met, but in the same way is sooo bold and confident, like when he raises his eyebrows and smirks at ian… and the way you can see him struggling so much with himself and his sexuality because of the homophobic societal structures that he had to grow up in, leading to him being unsure about holding ian’s hand in public, even in a dark cinema. 

but how soo hyun overcomes all of this by himself and LOVES ian, really loves him, enough to book tickets to san fran to support him and make up with him. soo hyun’s kindness, empathy, and caring nature are soooooo so unparalleled.

I just finished Bad Guy (like so long after it’s release lol) but this is literally amazing thank you SO MUCH for writing this!!

Okay, so this has nothing to do with Guardian (sorry about that), but I just binge-watched season one of Bad Guys (the 2014 korean drama series) and… I have so many feelings?

The show pissed me off because all the victims were women, but the characters are really engaging and… Feelings ensued. So. Many. Feelings.

The kid passes out in the van the moment they’re done preparing for their nightly confrontation and Woong-cheol can’t blame him one bit.

Jung-moon’s face is pale and drawn, the only spot of color the blood-crusted lip and the bruise on his jaw where Woong-cheol punched him and he’s carefully cradling his injured arm to his body.

I feel like the reason certain dog-lovers insist cats are evil is because they read their body language as if they were dogs. So here’s a very basic guide to common “mean” things cats do that actually aren’t mean at all if you know what they’re thinking.

Rolling and exposing belly- attacks you when touched Does not mean: Give belly rubs! - haha I tricked you!  Actually means: I’m playful! If you reach for my belly I’ll grab your arm and bite it because I think we’re playfighting! 

Lazily exposing belly - still attacks when touched Does not mean: tricked you again! Actually means: I’m showing you my belly because I trust you. Please don’t break that trust by invading my personal space. I might accept a belly rub if I’m not ticklish and I know you well. Snapping at you while being pet Does not mean: I suddenly decided I dislike you! Actually means: You’re petting me in a way that gives me too much restless energy. Please focus on petting my head and shoulders instead of stroking the full length of my back next time.

Is in the same room but makes no attempt to interact Does not mean:  I’m ignoring you Actually means: We’re hanging out! I’m being respectful by giving you space while still enjoying your company. Slapping/scratching your hand when you try to pet them Does not mean: I hate you! Actually means: You’ve failed to establish that we’re not playing, or the way you’re approaching me scares me. Be calmer, speak more gently, make eye-contact and blink slowly at me before you try again.
