I got sidetracked from whatever else I was doing to make a new bedding template and a full set of replacement beddings (all 40 of 'em) for TS2.

All thanks and credit to CuriousB's Complete Bedding Replacement Kit and @platinumaspiration's 4t2 Beddings for the base textures. Patterns are from Peacemaker's TS4 Roarsome Bedding and Mid-Century Abode Bedding, and Syboubou's TS4 Dreamy Toddler Bed (T$R link).

No need to credit me if you use the template to make your own bedding. But if *do* you want to tag me... I'd love to see what you make! And please credit pm/syb if you use one of their patterns.

🌴 4t2 Boschiana Vcay Bikini 🌞

Hello again my sweeties! ☀️

Back with another 4t2 convertion~ This one is the Vcay Bikini from the Salty Breeze colletion made by @boschianacc , and it was a request from my patreon page.

This mesh is using some body parts of the edited body of the tatooer by @paluding , with maxis hands/feet.

Note that all the colors where not converted, the original set has around 90 colors, and 30 were convert, I fixed has well the original textures where the saturation/tone was not matching the top/bottom.

I have battled this outfit for many moons (AKA poked at it now and then) to bring you thirteen recolors of Cynnix's TSM Spy Hood conversion. Pretty sure I started out with one of Xia's recolors from here for the top. Comes in an assortment of Shadowfell colors and one (1) ACYL shade, each paired with brown or black trousers.

Jaideiris Dartboard Recolors Edited

People at T$R liked to do their object recolors in Raw32Bit format but that makes them look splotchy in game and it's very noticeable now that players have better machines and can max their graphics settings. I changed these to use DXT5 format instead. I also edited the Harley, Hello Kitty, and Irish Luck textures to remove the English writing but I didn't edit the Zombies texture because it was a bit too complicated for me

I converted this bakery set from Valia (specifically the second part of the set). Everything low poly, collection file include.

Note like I said before, I don't add omsp in custom shelves. You'll need cheats and prayers to decorate, but as you can see in the preview pictures, it works just fine.

I'll most likely convert the part 3 of this set too. Can't have a bakery without a nice kitchen huh?

TSM Prayer Stones as Default Stop Signs

Why? Because, in my never-ending quest to make the limitations of TS2 and my worldbuilding work together, I' decided it would be 've been working on reasons for the right-angled roads and square/rectangular lots and terrains in what is meant to be a very pre-modern fantasy setting. I've already established that the roads are aetherways, magical crystal paths that show where it's safe to travel and settle. Then I got thinking... what if crossroads, places where paths converge or separate, have mystical significance?

And so, a very niche upload was born.

I'm sure most pre-modern players use an invisible DR for the stop signs. I used to, until half an hour ago. But I thought it would be a nice touch to have little shrines at the intersections of aetherways. So I made two defaults for the stop signs: one using Peteran prayer stones from TSM, the other using Jacoban prayer stones. They're not perfect... but neither is the Senaverse, so whatever.

You can only use one option, because obviously, defaults work that way. Also note, poly count and texture size are higher than the Maxis stop sign - I couldn't reduce the texture sizes as my Photoshop is kind of nowhere at the moment, and I know nothing about reducing poly count, but to other simmers: feel free to optimise.

3t2 Wings (new version)

This is for The Sims 2.

A while ago I shared some recolors using textures from the TS3 fairy wings. I had used a mesh that was too big and caused a weird shadow. That annoyed me a little, so I made custom meshes for each type of wing so the shadow they cast would be more accurate.

I also changed, fixed and optimized a bunch of other things, the most visible one being I decreased the glow in the dark effect so it's less intense. These wings are for toddlers to elders, both genders/bodyshapes and enabled for all clothing categories. They show up in the glasses category.

Known issues:

The wings show up fine during gameplay, but will appear incomplete in Bodyshop, Create a Sim and the Change Appearance dialog. I could not find a solution for this. I will update this post if I ever do.

There will be clipping during some animations and interactions with objects and other sims. It's better to think of the wings as magical body parts that can go through matter... I mean, they even do that in The Sims 3.

so, you know how i love this variety dish default. i wanted even more recolours of this but 𝔥𝔦𝔰𝔱𝔬𝔯𝔦𝔠𝔞𝔩. mostly for my bacc, of course.

these don't replace your defaults! so you can have regular plate defaults, and these in your game. just make sure my file loads after your regular defaults. no swatches this time... just trust me sldkjfhslkdh

Random Medieval Gifts to Share

Hi everyone, I have a couple of random medieval-themed gifts to share tonight ❤️

Firstly, my custom loading screen that I made for my Medieval Install from a picture of the Village Green area in my MCC, Midiville. Since playing on Linux makes it super duper easy to have multiple installs of the same game, I now have one devoted to Medieval, and made this my loading screen. So if anyone else would like this, it needs to go into (vary this per your game install on your system) Program Files (x86) / The Sims 2 / Double Deluxe / Base / TS Data / Res / UI - essentially, just your base game UI folder!

Next, per a request I had from @elenwewy and with permission from @lordcrumps, I am uploading to share the dirt road defaults and lush terrain that the ever wonderful Alex made for me and my hood quite a while back, which never got uploaded anywhere officially. When I made my dark rural lanes set, they were made with the texture of these roads.

Because they're made by Alex they are of course super high quality and look awesome in game,

come with a road overlay rug with multiple variations of road texture,

and of course come with a matching terrain paint. There is also a matching terrain paint for the lush terrain, and also a lighter dirt texture that matches very well with the roads -

I've been using these for years, completely love them!

In terms of winter textures, Alex and I fiddled around quite a LOT trying to make sure that they have proper textures on lot view when there is snow accumulation. What we discovered is that certain mods that impact this have to be loaded together in a particular order for the roads to appear correctly, like so -

And not revert back to the default maxis road.

Included in my download is the Road Transparency Fix, which should be loaded first. If you have any kind of shader fixes, they must also load before the roads, and then if you have SimNopke's SkyFix, that must load AFTER the road defaults, for these winter textures to appear correctly. Here's a picture of the load order in my folder which works:

I have NOT included any shader fixes or SimNopke's SkyFix in my download, but if you have those mods, I would suggest loading them as so. (Hint, this works for any road default replacements I have tried so far!)
