[Pokémon Adventure Challenge]

The Legendary Pokémon are, of course, still in my mind.

Something that keeps replaying in my mind about the Pokémon of Legend is how Normal they were. Like Yveltal? I mentioned it seeming just like Momster (my Talonflame). They flew around together, squawked, and even played catch with me. I'm not sure what I was expecting with a legend, but it being a kind creature like that wasn't it.

I was expecting maybe their enormous power to be uncontrolled, scary. But thinking of it now, of course it makes sense that they can control their own power. They've had their whole lives, some timeless, to acquaint themselves with themselves. That in itself adds to their grandeur, I think.

Could I ever be so self-assured? So free? Having the courage and comfort to just be and play?

I can see why we've uplifted them to their legendary status. They are powerful in more ways than one.

IT WAS A YVETAL.

My friend showed me a YVETAL!!

It was massive! I didn't realize how birdlike it was before. Like obviously it can fly, but the similarities between it and my Talonflame were shocking.

That's why it's important to meet Pokémon, not just look at pictures. I've learned a lot of facts and figures, but seeing the real thing move and breath and PLAY??

I love Pokémon.

He proceeded to show me a dozen other Pokémon of Legend. We spent the whole day sharing notes and showing off tricks. It's incredible the power they have, and yet how happy they are to play catch.

The details I'll save for my Pokedex, but wow, I am sorry to downplay it, but I Do Not have the words. I'm still in shock, maybe.

[Pokémon Adventure Challenge]

My friend had an emergency today. He didn't explain, but said he was OK. Of course I'm concerned, but I have to trust he knows what he's doing.

Subsequently, we couldn't meet today. Whatever he wanted to show me will have to wait.

In the meantime, I ended up uh... blowing most of my money on new clothes and hair... Everything I've ever seen was either pink, blue, or black, but these were GREEN PINSTRIPES! I had to. I really did.

And now my hair is short and warmer. I look as CUTE as a FLETCHLING.

So then I went to the Battle Chateau, and convinced everyone to do double payouts to help rebuild my funds (though thinking back, maybe they couldn't say no due to my influence as Grand Dukeor...)

At any rate, I did a lot of battling today, and not much catching. I'll need to focus harder if I'm to complete my goal of catching them all.

Oh geez, it's been a while.

I'll admit, I lost my passcode to this journal...

A lot has happened! Buuuut I'm not sure that it's worth recapturing in detail...

So, maybe I ought to just recap some core elements of who I am?

Hi, I'm Jordan and my friends call me Jordster. I'm originally from Pallet Town-- oh, that's in Kanto. My family moved to Kalos (have you heard of Vaniville Town? We love small towns I guess). Not long after that I left for my Pokémon adventure. Kalos is home now, and honestly I don't visit Kanto much... I suppose it's the truth that home is where the heart is. And if THAT'S true, then my true home is with my Pokémon and my mother.

I still visit Mom frequently, and she's doing well! After I became Champion-- wait I shouldn't just gloss over that. I defeated THE Elite Four!! (andsavedtheworldandtheythrewaparade i still never learned about how that guy was 3,000 years old...)

But honestly I'm good friends with the Elite Four now. I'm actually with them right now and we've been marathon battling. That's when I challenge them over and over haha!

My pokemon are strong and healthy. And because of that, I've finally convinced my mom that I'm okay and she ought to return to Rhyhorn racing!!! She founded a league here in Kalos, do you believe that?! But of course that's my mom!!!!

I'm still on a looong journey in catching every known Pokemon. I nearly have all of them in Kalos. But the world is vast...

You know what else is vast? My actual nemesis, Lumiose City. I swear, more roads keep popping up there! No matter how much time I spend walking, roller skating, biking, (running around in circles with a pocket full of eggs with Momster (my Talonflame)), I still can't get a solid mental map. Someone ought to rework it haha.

I suppose that's the most important recaps. Later this week, my friend has a surprise for me. He says he has something to show me that he thinks I'll like. I'm thinking it HAS to be cake, right? There's no special occasion, but? I don't know, any time is a good time for cake.

So... well... (how did I used to do this...?) That's it for now!
