I recently went on a trip to Cavtat, Croatia. Just one step off the plane and it felt like you had entered into paradise. The sky the bluest of blue, the water as clear as glass. Every place you looked was as picturesque as the next.
This holiday was everything to me.
A time to escape.
A time to think.
A time to find myself.
Finding myself is a very strong phrase to throw about as I believe no one ever has the ability to find there true self. I believe that its a continuous process which last eterntity. However I found the confidence and personal security I longly needed. Through having little wifi during the day I had no way of talking to my fiends and family, checking my Instagram and Facebook. That made me think to myself…. “what am I doing with my life?”. Yes, some people may say ‘Jordenne you're only 19 why are you already thinking this?’. But I would go back to when I was younger and had so many dreams; being an astronaut flying through space to find ufos and unknown planets, being the next Wes Anderson, being an archeologist and discovering the hidden tombs of the Ancient Egyptians. When I was younger I thought by 20 I would have my life together and have one of my many dream jobs. But as I said thats just a dream and a dreamer I am.
