#if im being honest it’s like. im currently writing his info again and im like#it does and doesn’t make sense (what ive done)#i was like either they both went into the water and jordie washed up somewhere different (the parallel of him receiving help vs kaz being#on his own is good) or jordie woke up with a little more energy that day and in naively thought things were looking up#leaves kaz’s side just for a minute to see if he can’t find SOMETHING to keep them both alive and when he comes back 🧍🏻#kaz is gone. and he’s like WHERE IS MY BROTHER?!#and it’s like. you know - ‘he was dead. where do you think the dead go?’#but then im like it STILL doesn’t add up completely that jordie sort of Left Him Behind#like he would have walked along the barge looking for him im sure of it and he’s near death himself#and receives help once again once he’s like. given up on finding kaz’s body and thus on living#and he’s still so sick and grief is literally destroying him being in the city - so they move to the country#ITS AO LONG AND FOR WHAT#his master plan would then be. he’s a merchant’s son#they want him to be their son (to replace the son they lost to firepox) and in my head#jordie is just as revenge driven except he’s a step behind kaz because he still doesn’t know who hertzoon is#but in all those years he hopes to see him at a party or in passing in the country and he doesn’t so#coming back to ketterdam with money in his pocket and being what he told hertzoon he wanted for himself and kaz is like#motivation for him#HELP#DOES IT MAKE SENSE?!
