Dear Partner, We understand 2022 may have been a difficult year for you at the BE Festival. We have heard all the suggestions and recommendations. Let us share what we have been working on. We're moving into a new 100,000 square ft. Convention Center. All of our partners will have access to these amazing new amenities.  Easy load in and set up are just a few of the changes we have made for 2023.  We also have an early bird special for returning partners. (3) Days for only $100.00 - June 16th - 18th.  We also have discount room rates if you're in need of hotel accomodations. #Repost @iamasongwriter @download.ins --- I.P.I. is one of the most important words and acronyms to know as an affiliate with #ASCAP, #BMI, #GMR (independent artists not at this Azoff P.R.O. level yet… we still hanging out in the launch pit… we di) #SESAC, #SOCAN, etc… (and all other Performing Rights Organizations {PROs} outside of the US) for getting you paid properly. They are how other creators/collaborators will know how to pay royalties to the right creators/individuals when it comes to writers and/or publishers shares and song splits. Type in Michael Smith in any Repertory and let me know how many writer names you see. Can it be distinguished? Not really but that IPI# can definitely clarify and help in doing so. Please note Member ID#s (keep confidential) are not the same as IPI#s (available to public). You are issued an IPI# as a writer, composer and as a publisher. They are all different numbers too. All IPIs can be found in the Repertory of your respective P.R.O. Also ASCAP and BMI have a combined database- #Songview (songs are still be reconciled) to search for musical works and see what percentage of shares are being represented cause they need to be 100%. We are all caught up in the transformation of the music industry. It will affect both sides as a consumer and creator. Just do your part to #KnowYourRights and #KnowYourWorth.
