Combining an advanced implementation of Epic’s Unreal Engine with The Mill’s proprietary virtual production toolkit, Mill Cyclops™, “The Human Race” merges real-time visual effects and live-action storytelling. The combined technologies were pushed beyond the limits of existing real-time rendering capabilities to produce a futuristic film that features the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in a heated race with the Chevrolet FNR autonomous concept car.

In december I had the chance to test the Canon EOS 1DX II for two weekends. One weekend was with my family in Pontresina (CH). When I came home I decided to use the footage for a short film and mix it with some of my timelapse footage of the past years. I then listened to different essays of Alan Watts. For the voice-over I've actually used two different essays. I hope you like it.

Vindur is a non-narrative short film shoot with drone in different parts of Iceland.

Vindur means wind in Icelandic which is relevant to the way its shoot. So for 3 minutes you will get to enjoy amazing drone footage portraying Icelandic unbelievable landscapes. Beautiful waterfalls, endless valleys, unusual mountain ranges, out of this world landscapes, oceanic cliffs, old glacier, fantastic canyon and many other wonders that makes Iceland so unique and such a blast to shoot using DJI Phantom 3 professional. I really hope you enjoy watching it.
