Toddler Bowls by Color Traits

One color trait mod more for the special day 🎁

This mod makes the high chair toddler bowls appear in the toddler's favorite color. If the toddler has multiple favorite colors, it's randomized between the first three in the inventory. The yellow bowl is used if the toddler doesn't have a favorite color.

I also replaced the bowl mesh with a new, smoother version.

Known feature: when a sim fetches a bowl from a fridge, the bowl will only update to the correct color when the sim closes the fridge.

Is compatible (and recommended to use) with the accessible toddler high chairs mod by @lamare-sims, but my mod must load after it. This mod also works with these custom toddler foods by @vegan-kaktus and @jellymeduza, just either delete the related 'deliver' mod or make sure that my mod loads last.

🚨 This mod is likely not compatible with existing toddler food default replacements as they usually include bowl-related resources. Because of that, I've included compatible edits of vegan-kaktus' default food and bienchen83's fruit salad default. Make sure that the default of your choice loads after this mod, and only use one of the defaults at a time.

The new bowl mesh is 456 polys and the textures are 256x128. I used graphic resources from Freepik, nothing AI-generated.

Remember that TS2 dev interview where they said they were certain there was a gay couple in the original plan, but it was left out, and it could have been the Dreamers? I don't think it was meant to be the Dreamers. I think it was meant to be the Oldies.

Support for this theory includes the adoption of Mary-Sue, their being left out from the core neighbourhood story (and only kept in the family bin, as an optional addition to the 'hood), and... well, a pun. Coral's maiden name is Ruggbyrne, or Rug Burn. It's a very old/offensive way of referring to a lesbian (rug burner), or sometimes to an extremely effeminate gay man. But, okay, my knowledge of old shittalking aside, some of the Ruggbyrne's last name translations translate to Flaming, another old way to refer to a gay man - particularly Swedish, and possibly in Dutch.

It just clicks a lot better than the Dreamers for me, because it has all of the details I'd typically see in a (happy!) gay narrative of the time that someone had to turn straight at the last minute.

I'd love to know what everyone thinks about this. This could be nothing, it could be something.

writing up this little "guide" both so that I remember how to do this & also for those of you who don't know this little trick yet. this isn't just for the crowd who illegally obtained their game; some of us registered our games when we were 12 years old, don't remember our passwords and no longer have access to the email address we used for the account teehee anyways guide under the cut

I use google chrome, things might look a bit different if you use another browser but it should be pretty similar across the board I would imagine.

find what you want to download (this is a world. obviously), right click the page itself and press 'view page source' (or press ctrl + u if you're a shortcut gamer)

this opens a new page, next thing you're gonna do is press ctrl + f to bring up the search bar in the top right of the page. search sims3pack and it should bring back at least one instance (sometimes there are two, if there's multiple you can use either link; it's the same one I'm pretty sure)

highlight the link that ends in .sims3pack (don't include the quotation marks or anything else, you literally just want the link) and either copy + paste that into your address bar, or right click and press 'go to insert link here'. it should just start the download from there.

sometimes its a bit finicky and brings back an error page; usually switching users on google chrome or opening an incognito tab fixes this for me.

Some EA TS4 conversions.

First, the twenty MySims collectible trophies. These are in Décor>Sculptures, the stand is 1 channel CAST-able. The preset included with the files is more or less the original TS4 colour. Thank you Sandy at ATS for the tip of how to get the textures! And thank you Huge-Lunatic for the help too!

Second, a piggy I ripped from a bookcase. Not CAST-able, should be in sculptures too.

Last, the Freezer Bunny guitar. The guitar itself is not CAST-able; the stand is 2 channels CAST-able.

For the guitar, I included the two original TS4 presets, and an extra blue recolour of the Freezer Bunny, inspired by tombstoneoflifeanddeath TS2>TS4 conversion of the same guitar.

(I tried making the guitar CAST-able, but I am a dork and it looked terrible.)

The guitar should be 100% functional, and it should have all the correct joints and geostates. Emphasis on should. 

Both the guitar and the piggy have normal maps.

Beta Sims 3 Main Menu

These images depict concept designs for the main menu of TS3. I believe they date back to around 2007-2008.

You can try second one in your game.

Copy GameEntryMainMenuForAutotest from UI.package and paste it into a new package file.

Right-click on the copied file, select "Details," and change the name to GameEntryMainMenu.

Click on "fnv64," then click "OK" and save the changes.

Note that this isn't in a working condition, but it's still pretty cool to see.
