SUNSET from cento lodigiani on Vimeo.
I wrapped up in a single short film a few animations I've been working on this summer. Three short stories that take place during the sunset. Tragically, it's going to be the very last sunset experience for all of the main characters involved.

coral colors from myLapse on Vimeo.
In this video we have tried to show movement and the enormous chromatic beauty of corals, a kind of marine animals that despite being one of the oldest animals on our planet, are mostly unknown.
You will discover its stunning beauty, its spectacular colors and the mystery of his movements.
To capture these images it was necessary to apply the technique of time lapse as the slow movements of these animals are very difficult to see at a glance.
The use of macro lens gives a large enough vision to contemplate the huge variety of colorful species.
Photographic equipment:
CANON 7D CANON 550D CANON EF 100 mm 1: 2.8 L IS USM
To perform this video over 25000 photographs were made for approximately 1 year.
music: Atmostra III by Cedric Baravaglio, Jonathan Ochmann and Zdravko Djordjevic.
We like to think that with this work, we have put a small grain of sand to raise your attention about the Great Barrier Reef, one of the natural wonders of our world, endangered because of global warming and because of the industrial projects of the Government of Australia.
Thank you for your comments and likes

música: Atmostra III by Cedric Baravaglio, Jonathan Ochmann and Zdravko Djordjevic.

Random walks from Borbála Tompa on Vimeo.
-SYNOPSIS- We follow the story of five immigrants in Budapest, two of whom still live here as refugees. We touch upon various levels of their life - from the banal to the serious. In economic theory, "random walk" means that stock market prices cannot be predicted. Each time, the price has a fifty-fifty chance of closing higher or lower than the previous day. It means that we don't know how - or where the life of these people going further.

youtube
Un fuerte abrazo, José Gerardo.

Naughty Princess from Vasil Shotarov on Vimeo.
Naughty Princess is a short tale about a geeky young lad who builds a catapult to launch himself towards the princess in the tower. The story is set in a different time period but still reflects on a modern issue and is intended to be light hearted and fun while maintaining its impactful motive.
Produced as a Final Major Project at Bournemouth University (NCCA) 2016.

Riding Light from Alphonse Swinehart on Vimeo.
In our terrestrial view of things, the speed of light seems incredibly fast. But as soon as you view it against the vast distances of the universe, it's unfortunately very slow. This animation illustrates, in realtime, the journey of a photon of light emitted from the surface of the sun and traveling across a portion of the solar system, from a human perspective.
I've taken liberties with certain things like the alignment of planets and asteroids, as well as ignoring the laws of relativity concerning what a photon actually "sees" or how time is experienced at the speed of light, but overall I've kept the size and distances of all the objects as accurate as possible. I also decided to end the animation just past Jupiter as I wanted to keep the running length below an hour.
