SOLDIER!TIFA AU like

I jus have lots of feelings about SOLDIER!Tifa AU ok. The drama, the angst, the uniform. Going to Midgar w Cloud cause they are actual childhood friends. Getting into SOLDIER n dealing with the aftermath when Cloud is rejected by the program. Being one of the only lady SOLDIERS.

Tifa has a sword like everyone else, but does she use it???? No. It's just for show. She PUNCH. She THROWS THAT SHIT OUT the second she makes First Class. She's so popular with her charming accent and her shy smile and her biceps... Def got a huge fanclub.

But she weighed down by the fact that Cloud is being bitter she made it in and is enjoying everything he isnt. Like she came cause Cloud asked her to (BFFs forever) like this was his dream not her's and she feels bad but she also gets to punch things regularly and

Is rewarded for her efforts and appreciated FOR ONCE. So Zack acts as the bridge for many years between the two, Tifa asking about Cloud and Cloud...well asking about her in his own way. When Zach and Cloud go missing she really starts to rebel and pick apart Shinra, esp after

Being forbidden from going home (cause Sephiroth). She learns the truth eventually and manages to find Zack and Cloud before Zack is killed. She helps cover their tracks and basically its the moment theyve all decided to defect, though Tifa stays in Midgar and works from the

Inside. At least until she cant and she joins AVALANCHE in an offical capacity instead of just an informant. This isnt even covering the tests Tifa went under, as I feel like the CC days were more wild west in terms of Shinra experimentation. She wasnt given JENOVA but a hyper

dose of pure mako or smth. Really dunked her in the shit over the course of several months. Gave her the eyes, voices in her head...but made her a direct opposite of what Cloud and Zack and Sephiroth become. Also to give her more gay moments with Aerith i kno what im about okay.

Which is a great segway into the Aerti stuff. Like. Tifa has a heart so she tours the slums a lot on her time off and eventually runs into Aerith and is charmed by the flowers, since she hasnt been home in ages. Eventually they become friends cause Tifa keeps coming around.

I mean friends in the gay, sexually charged way. But Tifa's super charged Mako/lifestream body does weird things when with the Cetra or basically around the lifestream/mako so shes really confused for a long while. When shit goes down Tifa tries to keep Aerith away from it, but

Then the events of FF7 happens anyways lmaooo. So by then Tifa is struggling to find herself in a different way from Cloud, acutely aware of her past and who she is. Except for her gay sweating around aerith. That takes a little while longer.
