this was the only picture I got for my dystopia project that didn't have a Starbucks drink nearby the subject. Photoshop got it done!

My second SPACE project. We were supposed to come up with a board game, thankfully it didn’t need to be playable but we needed to pick what shape our game board should be, come up with 3 obstacles, a path, and a character for ourselves. Gary said a good idea would be to base it off of a challenge we’ve gone through. As soon as he said that I knew what I was going to do; I made “My MS Game” The shape of the game board is a body painted blue because it represents strength in color theory. I checked google, but I could be wrong don’t quote me on that. The path is made of a bunch of pills that look like my first medicine that I started taking when I was diagnosed. I made the path in the shape of a figure 8 because there currently isn’t a cure. I am hopeful and optimistic they will find a cure in my lifetime, but this cycle reflects how MS feels sometimes; just going back and forth between which symptom is bothering you most that day; or really that moment.  I based the 3 obstacles off of SOME of my symptoms. The eye represents the double vision I have had, the thermometer represents my heat sensitivity, and the anchor represents the only way I can describe what my leg feels like during flare ups. For my character I chose a goofy mustache to represent the positive attitude I have tried my very best to keep during all of this, also the first year I was diagnosed I participated in an MS walk to raise money for awareness with the team name the MuStache marchers. I also grew the beautiful art piece of a mustache that you see in my profile picture.
I should mention that I am currently feeling the best I have in about the last year and half or so, and my symptoms have not been bothering me nearly as much they have in the past.
