Tails might be a mechanical genius, but I think even geniuses need a second opinion in order to check their egos.. Plus I think people forget often that the biplane was Sonic's plane in the first place; he'd have some pretty valuable knowledge about plane anatomy and maintenance (not to mention he can.. y'know.. fly them?) the background is a mess, and something OTHER than enviromental backgrounds is something I need improvement on, but oh well.
