Okay. I really, really hate doing this, but I see no way out.

Despite contacting the insurance company multiple times because they failed to put our new vehicle on our policy, and being reassured that they had, they never put the new vehicle on the policy, causing us to miss three months of payments for it.

I'm at a loss. I'm on disability right now, which pays something like 80% of my regular pay. I have no way of making these balloon payments. I don't know what else to do here. Please consider helping, or just reblogging.

disabled intersex trans person saving up for rent

hello there, i am a severely disabled intersex trans person who is currently saving up for rent. i am schizophrenic, i have hEDS, degenerative disc disease, and am developing Crohn's disease. i am dealing with a lot of severe chronic pain, as well as fevers, vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, intestinal cramping, fatigue/exhaustion, and debilitating symptoms that make it impossible for me to work a conventional job. it is summer where i live, and it has been getting up to 101 - 103 fahrenheit so far this year, which exacerbates my symptoms greatly. i am currently waiting for a colonocopy/endoscopy to try to get more answers & treatment options for my crohn's, but for now, i am very sick, in the middle of a flare up.

i've been on tumblr since 2009 and we do the "this website is getting shut down" panic every few years like clockwork but no matter how much anyone plugs their bluesky (and i like bluesky! i have one!) there is simply no socmed platform that replicates tumblr in the way that i enjoy using it. nowhere else can i trade 10k word posts back and forth between strangers who are just as obsessed with something as me. they'll have to carry me off this platform feet first.
