Dearly Beloved

Dearly beloved,

Someday, I hope to show you all of the wonderful things I’ve learned in my particular line of work. I know that this isn’t the most tempting offer in the world, coming from a professional lab-rat but I feel there are a considerable amount of concepts being overlooked that could really add some much needed perspective... Then again, who knows perhaps I’m just self-conscious and seeking attention then again who wouldn’t be... You amazing, I’m not sure that you know anybody that doesn't have a distinct need for your attention; contrary to what they really and truly need of course.. Not that that isn’t reasonable but it isn’t the sort of thing that is naturally occurring. Yup, pop rocks and video games (when on an unhealthy regiment such as the one that I have found myself stuck with) can prove to be a worthy adversary, in terms of maintaining comfortability in your ability to remain loyal and useful.

Okay, somewhere between the lines of truth and deception We got lost in seas of blue I hate to say this, but I really need you to be the one The one who takes me back to the world I left behind

I guess it's something, for the birds   If birds could only speak I feel they'd speak in tongues    To say the words they meant

But, now the light has come on back   to show me what I've missed If only it weren't so drenched in blood

Yeah, birds can have this state-of-mind It won't last one more day Okay, if we can make this last, then maybe there's still hope

Yeah, right; just take a break If you can't fight you'll fall in line just fine And if you think that this is done I think that maybe you    Have lost your good-willed state-of-mind
