Weblog 10: Chat gpt 4.0 helps in education
As an AI language model, I believe that the technology behind me has significant implications for education in several ways:
Personalized Learning: With the help of machine learning algorithms, personalized learning can be provided to students. AI can identify the individual learning needs of each student and suggest suitable study materials, exercises, and learning paths. Improved Accessibility: AI can make education more accessible by providing alternative learning methods, such as audio and visual materials, for students with disabilities. Additionally, online courses and virtual classrooms can reach more students, regardless of their location. Enhanced Learning Experience: AI can provide an interactive and immersive learning experience through simulations, virtual and augmented reality, and gamification. This approach can improve engagement and help students to understand complex concepts. Efficient Administration: AI can also help in the administrative tasks of educational institutions. AI-powered tools can handle tasks such as scheduling, grading, and record-keeping, freeing up teachers' time for more important tasks. Continuous Assessment: AI can help in the continuous assessment of students' progress. This approach can provide teachers with real-time feedback, allowing them to identify areas where students need extra support. Lifelong Learning: AI can also help in promoting lifelong learning. With the help of AI-powered personal learning assistants, students can continue to learn and develop new skills throughout their lives.
In conclusion, the technology behind AI language models like me has several implications for education, ranging from personalized learning to efficient administration. The integration of AI in education can provide a more effective and engaging learning experience for students, improve accessibility, and promote lifelong learning.

Weblog 9: Creative work
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is one of my favourite movies, and even though it has been created in 2001, I still chose it because I have been listening to it a lot throughout the years. It is a wonderful introductory movie of the Harry Potter series with an amazing feeling of discovery. It has an amazing storyline and is an exciting movie, the film stars Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter with Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley and Emma Watson as Hermione Granger. Magic has always fascinated me and this movie is all about magic, This movie is based on the cheeky Rowling novel of the same name. The story is about a boy named Harry Potter who finds out that he is a wizard, Harry gets his first wand and goes to study in a magic school Hogwarts. There he learns everything about magic and makes good friends with Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. The movie little tells us the challenges Harry faces when Voldemort(The wicked wizard who killed Harrie's parents) returns. Harry was destined for a showdown with evil Voldemort and he finally manages to kill him everything in the movie has been executed to perfection the movie had a great plot moment of suspense and create practice development. In the past, I used to judge people who watches the movie and preferred to stick with book, however, since I first saw it on television five years ago, I changed my mind and decided to watch the other Harry Potter series. At the end, with no doubt, this movie is better than any other Harry Potter’s version.

Weblog 8: Photo essay
Tumblr media
In this photo, you can see me when I was approximately eight months old. My parents took the photo when we were in a park in Malaysia, where I was born. I do not recall all the events that happened that day because I was too young. My family used to do many activities with me when I was a child, and this one has a special place in my heart because it was one of the first photos of me walking outside the house. This photo reminds me that contrary to other babies I walked without crawling. There was only one television at home. I wanted to view my favourite cartoon and my father was watching a soccer match. I was angry, so I walked to take the remote control from my father’s hands. That is how I walked for the first time. This photo exists because, in my family, it was and still is a tradition to keep souvenir pictures of special moments like birthdays, Christmas, etc.  In the picture, I was happy because back then, I was carefree. Now grown, this photo makes me realize that I was not always an insecure person in life like I usually think. When people are asked to choose between intelligence and beauty, their answer is usually intelligence. I choose beauty. The more you grow, the more you acquire knowledge about the real problems of our world; you become more intelligent. This photo makes me realize that I overlook the moments of my childhood when the most important thing I was worried about was what I intended to eat. Naively, I had only seen the beautiful things of life.

I went to Michel Chartrand Park to disconnect myself from my phones and human life and connect with nature. The wind blew the trees that had lost their leaves because of winter. In the park, there are different sorts of trees like maple and conifer. The white snow had fallen the night before it was forming a mountain on the floor making it hard for the deer to displace itself. The deer seemed to be in his element and, it was not scared to come closer to me (even though I was scared). Unfortunately, I did not manage to get out five examples of natural environments that day however, a few days later, there was a beautiful colour gradient that played between pinkish and greenish.

Beyoncé's album is titled 'RENAISSANCE', and she pays homage to the era by referencing the historic painting of Lady Godiva. John Collier's 19th century painting features Godiva, an Anglo-Saxon noblewoman, who is mainly remembered for riding naked, covered only by her long hair, through the streets of Coventry.Beyoncé conceived and recorded Renaissance during the pandemic, seeking to inspire joy and escapism in listeners who had experienced isolation and to celebrate a club era in which marginalized people sought liberation through dance music. The album blends post-70’s black dance music styles such as disco and house and pays homage to the Black and queer pioneers of those genres. The album's lyrical content explores themes of escapism, pleasure, self-assurance and self-expression. I listened a lot to the album after its release and I still do listen to it a lot.

Most of my life, I grew up in Cameroon, in Africa. I remember that every Monday, before going to class, every student had the obligation to arrive early then usual to sing the national anthem. Students had to align themselves like in the photo and the teacher were in front of the student and horizontally aligned behind the flag pole, observing the students. Those who arrived late had to face serious consequences. At the end, one student will be responsible to lifting the flag up in the sky in front of the school. No one wanted to be the one to lift the flag and the teachers always chose the students who they suspected to lip-sync to lift it.

Mango is my favourite fruit of all times. I love eating mangoes because they are sweet and pulpy. My favourite part about eating mangoes is when we eat it with our hands and even though it becomes a mess, it is always worth it. Moreover, the memories I have with this fruit makes it even more special. During my summer break, we visit my village along with the whole family. Thus, during the hot summer afternoons, my family sits beneath the tree together. We take out mangoes from a bucket of cold water and sit down to savour them. Looking back at how much fun we used to have makes me extremely happy. Thus, I always get nostalgic when eating mangoes.

Chaotic desperation
Firstly, a "well made" play is defined as complex and highly artificial plotting, a build-up of suspense, a climactic scene in which all problems are resolved, and a happy ending. Jacobean's revenge play, on the other hand, is a dramatic genre in which the protagonist seeks revenge for an imagined or actual injury. In "4.48 Psychosis," the main character suffers from a psychiatric problem, but the author still chooses to over-organize the whole play. During multiple parts of the play, the thought of the main character does not seem like the one of a person depressed, even though they clearly show signs of depression. However, after reading the whole play, its over-organization goes hand-in-hand with the author's main idea because it accentuates even more to the play's audience the chaotic desperation going through the protagonist's mind. Everything mentioned above about "4.48 Psychosis" goes hand in hand with all the characteristics "well made" play except one: the happy ending. Kane decided that the story will end with the main character killing herself. The author made the story more believable while showing how intensely the protagonist's mental health is fragile. Multiple times in the play, the main character wants to punish herself through physical pain to resolve her mental pain. For example, the protagonist cut her arm and while asking why she states that it is "because it feels fucking great." In a way, get a certain revenge for what happened in her past, therefore, the author is following the characteristics of Jacobean's revenge tragedy. The use of this drama style by Kane goes explicitly hand in hand with the representation of the chaotic desperation present in the protagonist's mind to escape her reality and be "free."

Francesca Woodman in one word: Talented
My favourite painting was the untitled piece from the book Francesca Woodman, The Roman years: between flesh and film. Francesca Woodman herself hangs by her arm from a wooden door frame, with a wooden chair pushed to one side. The artist later committed suicide, so I found this painting interesting. She cried for help, but did not do it loud enough to be understood. Her face is barely visible in her photo because she hides it with her left arm. Twisting her arms, her body hangs over the door facing us, with a subtle light streaming in from above, reminding the audience that no matter what, there is a shine of light at the end of the tunnel. The whole scene undoubtedly speaks to the artist's depression, and perhaps even looks like a foreshadowing to prevent her death. The photograph is a self-portrait, not depicting her physic but representing or expressing her daily negative thoughts inside her head. I find it interesting because depending on whether you know her biography or not, you will have different interpretations. I admire her talent more and more. Also, her picture frame looks like a salvation scene of Jesus Christ crucified. It is also very bold for the artist to compare herself to Jesus, an important figure in Christianity, and contrast it with her vulnerable state in the photograph. It shows her views of women in society, vulnerable yes, but also powerful, valuable and respectable; like any other man. The artist is a strong feminist and aligns with my feminist opinion. Also, although this piece is old, I chose it as my favourite because I can easily relate it to any modern photographer.

Blog 5: Is this real ? Overthing might ruin you
The image I chose shows a silhouette with open arms in a dark space. The person opens his arms to do a hug, a warm action contrasting the vibe felt from the picture. The message behind the photo is that even though it is true that not everything attractive is good, it does not mean that you should overthink human kindness. If someone unknown to you approaches in a similar position as the silhouette, basing yourself on the atmosphere of the image, your reflex will be to think ill of the stranger. Now, what if, in fact, the person you see as a "stranger" is someone you know but, because you are far away or because of something else, you do not recognize your acquaintance? Also, I intentionally did not show the face of the person to give the effect of distance between the silhouette and the person observing the picture. I also purposefully took the picture in a way that can see that there is a distance between the viewer of the silhouette and the viewer. The goal was really to emphasize the "psychotic" part of humans. It is present due to them questioning the meaning of everything surrounding them and them being scared of the unknown.

Entertainment turn to murder scene ?
If I was a performance artist, I will to a public place and play truth or dare with random people in the audience. The questions will be chosen aleatory, and they will be either simple, like "how many boyfriends do you have" or too embarrassing, like "Have you ever raped anybody or been raped." The dare of the game can be easy, like "Do ten squats," to complex ones, "Kill a person from the audience." The person who has to answer the question is also aleatory, and it is either me or the experiment's participant meaning that I will also have to deal with all of the wild truths and dare randomly choose. The game goes this way. There are two big boxes, the first box is filled with papers with the words "participant" or "host" written on it. The other one contains papers with the words truth or dare and the necessary details. The experiment's participant will have to pick one piece of paper from each box starting with box one. Each participant will play three rounds with me. This game will last for three, and more "wild" truths and dare written on the papers. This experiment will show how people do not understand the danger behind each entertainment. My goal will be to see how long will it take the audience to stop the game due to its harm to human privacy and security. I chose "truth or dare" because we all know how to play it and it is cheap. Also, it is common for teenagers to discover each other's secrets through the game, so it is easier for me to guarantee that the audience will react just as I expect them to, laughing instead of stopping the game.

Weblog 3
For the land of art project, I was responsible for the research, and we (my teammates and I) had to use the result of my search to create our piece of land of art. One earth art that attracted my attention was the “Spiral Jetty” by Robert Smithson, which he sculpted in 1970. I liked how the sculptor Robert Smithson made something as simple as a spiral into something that would attract the eyes of the viewers for a long time. However, I liked less the fact that Smithson’s sculpture did not use a large variety of colours; even so, I acknowledged that the artist chose neutral colours on purpose to respect the most important principle of Land art, which is to respect the natural space. This sculpture influenced our land of art because it was the reason I told my teammates that we must create our piece near a location that would allow us to use colourful materials without breaking the motto of earth art. Jon Foreman’s project entitled “Sculpture of the World '' influenced my vision of my team and my piece of land of art because, without disturbing nature, he did something pretty and colourful. The detail that interested me the most in Foreman’s creation was that he played with the sand's colour, therefore, I decided that my team and I must do the same.

Land art is directly made in the landscape using natural materials to create structures within the landscape. Land art, also known as earth art, was part of the broader conceptual art movement of the 1960s and 1970s. A group of pioneering artists established Land art to explore natural sites, alternative forms of artwork, and ways to circumvent the commercial art system. The concept of earth art quickly grew from a trend to include materials like dirt, rocks, and plants to a "process-based approach to art-making" in which the artist would go on excursions into the surrounding environment to collect objects.

Weblog entry 1:
Hi! I am Serena, one of your students in the English class of art this semester. I have not picked this course because, unfortunately, it is the only one besides the multiple other English class choices that can fit into my schedule. Nonetheless, I am satisfied with the class, because, as a student in the Language and Communication program, I am studying art. Now, what is art? For me, art rhymes with creativity, passion/emotion, expression/message and beauty. The semantic field of art includes sculpture, painting, acting, dancing and less obvious art like literature and architecture. I associate art with history because of its message. People will die leaving a secret message in their art for us to discover, therefore, they leave their footprints in our history. From this course, I hope to perfect my creative writing skills and improve my ability to develop my ideas into a structured argumentative text.
