Residents Of Bemina Hamdania Colony Rejected Help Offer By Army On Friday. By Nasir Khan As the situtation of flood in kasmir valley from last few days back due to the heavy rainfall some places in srinagar submerge with flood as one of the place in srinagar which was flooded after a breach in the flood channel on Friday. Residents of hamdaniya colony bemina decline army of help. As the army personls came in the same area along with cassipir mine proof vehicles but the residents of hamdaniya colony bemina asked the army personls to leave we dont need any kind of help from your side.we are enough here to help each others as we did when water came in the same locality. One of the local told that we dont want someone to make propaganda of it like it was done in 2014.As we know As, the Indian Air Force charged the state government Rs 500 crore for “rescue sorties”. One of ther other local said that Local Ngo's and many volunteers were came hamdaniya colony bemina to help us and they started to seal the breach with sand bags and also rescued the people from midnight. One of the Volunteer said that we all are monitoring the water level closely to minimise the damage.

Encounter Update:- SP Pulwama, ASP Pulwama and SP Awantipora were going to attend a meeting when three militants in a Maruti car ambushed them. Police in retaliation killed two militants. Shabir Shah Resigns As Hurriyat (G) General Secretary. Srinagar: In what could cause an upset in the pro-freedom camp, senior leader Shabir Ahmad Shah has submitted his resignation from the post of General Secretary of Hurriyat (G). The development was confirmed by Shah himself to KR on Monday. Shah said he resigned because he was not able to perform his duties as General Secretary. “I submitted my resignation and also informed Chairman Syed Ali Geelani about these concerns,” he said. The Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) leader further said that the general secretary post is one of the most important roles in the party and he is not able to do justice with it. “I have been kept under detention for more than three years now, which is why there is no point in holding the charge,” he said. Shah said the post should be held by someone who is able to perform the duties required of the post, including managing the day-to-day party affairs. Hurriyat (G) spokesperson Ayaz Akbar, though, denied that Shah had submitted his resignation. “We have not received any resignation and it is not true,” Akbar told Reader. Hurriyat (G) comprises 24 pro-freedom parties. Shah said his party, DFP, will continue to remain its part. Shah said he will support whatever decision the party chairman will take on who the next general secretary of Hurriyat (G) will be. The DFP leader, adopted as ‘prisoner of conscience’ by Amnesty International, has served more than 25 years’ imprisonment. After forming a third faction of the Hurriyat Conference, Shah joined the Syed Ali Geelani-led Hurriyat (G) in a move that was at the time termed as one of the most significant in pro-freedom politics. He was appointed as General Secretary and pro-freedom leaders Nayeem Khan and Masarat Alam were appointed as his deputies in 2015. Pampore accident update. A School going girl student namely Abiroo Hameed daughter of Abdul Hameed Dar resident of Samboora Pampore died on spot after she was hit by a speedy bus bearing registration number JK02N-3107 at Kadlabal, Pampore. Abiroo was on way to school when she was hit by speedy bus to death. Abiroo was student of Class 11th at Girls Higher Secondary School Pampore. The bus driver has been arrested. Appeal: A 24-year-old Srinagar girl needs blessings, help Srinagar: A resident of Surtaing Rainawari, Rumi Ji, 24, is suffering from chronic liver disease and doctors have advised her to undergo a liver transplant. “Rumi was suffering from liver disease since she was 12 years old but after a treatment of over 12 years, the doctors have said that her condition has deteriorated and she needs a liver transplant,” said Irfan Ahmad, the youngest of her four siblings. The treatment costs Rs 15 to 20 lacs and the family is not in a condition to bear the costs. The family has appealed the general public to help the family for the treatment. Pertinently, liver transplant surgeries are not done anywhere in Kashmir. So Rumi has to be operated in mainland India. Irfan said that their father is ‘willing to beg’ but he just wishes to save Rumi. “He is jobless from last 25 years now. He was working in Gaziabad in a pharmaceutical factory but then Babri Masjid issue escalated and preferred home. Since then he is suffering from Asthma,” said Irfan who is working as a laborer with a mason. His eldest brother is a carpenter but he and another brother, are suffering from severe psychiatric ailments. Irfan and one of his sister’s (working at a glass factory) are working presently to run the family. Rumi has been diagnosed as a case of CTP Class C with MELD score=27, portal hypertension, Ascites and recurrent SBP. The patient is registered at government medical college, Srinagar under MRD no. JNU Student Found Hanging Inside His Room. A Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) student's body was found hanging from the ceiling of his room on Monday, police said. Apparently, he had committed suicide, they added. The body of deceased student, Krish Rajini, 25, was found hanging in a room in Munirka Vihar. Police reached the spot and found the room locked from inside, which they forced open to find the deceased hanging from ceiling. The M.Phil. student is said to have gone out to have food at his friend's house and locked his room from inside after returning from there on the pretext of sleeping. Restrictions in city areas, separatist leaders detained to prevent sit-in Authorities in Kashmir placed top separatist leaders under house arrest in Kashmir on Monday to foil a sit-in called to highlight plight of prisoners in the Valley. Senior separatist leaders Mirwaiz Umer Farooq, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Asiya Andrabi and Hilal War were placed under preventive detention. While Mirwaiz Umer and Asiya Andrabi were placed under house arrest, Malik and War were shifted to the Central Jail and Kothibagh police station. Meanwhile, restrictions have been imposed in and around Gaw Kadal and Maiusma areas to prevent the sit-in.
