Some quick sketches of my Vampire Stan fic :3 they make me soft.

I really tried to design Shermie like regular but for some reason while writing him I kept imagining him with white hair despite him not being old. So thats why I made him a vampire...and then decided he was a half vampire at the end-

Stan is actually shorter than all of them because its my usual headcanon for this era of Stan. So he is actually as tall as Ford when he is wearing heels uwu

Ford never thought of Stan as a little brother just a twin but something in Stan's weird vampire powers make him go full big brother mode- no it isnt all the powers doing. What can I say? Protective Ford.

Realizing I never posted the rest of my BTSOYT comic. I don't think I'm gonna finish it, so here's all my sketches for it!

Meta commentary regarding why I drew the pages the way I did below the cut ^^

I tried to keep the kitchen as canon-accurate as possible, but I think in doing that I kinda burnt out lol. I had only just figured out how to do complex backgrounds, and doing so many over and over was killing me oops. Don't do that kids

Aside from that! This was the first time I ever really drew Stan and Ford when they were this age, and you can tell in my sketches. I love micro expressions, and tried to incorporate them as much as I could, but it's harder to make them out in the sketches I think lol. Still!

This comic also helped me draw hands :)

The part I'm proudest of is the paneling/composition! When the panels are horizontal/vertical, Stan feels more relaxed/in control of the situation. So when Ciphord shows up, he takes control of the pages themselves by forcing the paneling to bend around him. Which is why, when Stan turns down Bill's offer, the panels straighten back out, since he feels like he has his "footing" again, so to speak.

I also incorporated Bill's swaying and Dutch angles and made them work together to create an effect. The ceiling of this room is slanted, which REALLY worked in my favor for that, too. So if the camera was tilted down to the right, Bill could be swaying left or right. One would make it look more like he was standing up straight, and one made it look like he was leaning INTO the tilt. The slanted ceiling made it feel even more disorienting. So when we get to that panel where he's like "WE CAN HAVE A GRAAAND OLD TIME," the panel is straight, but the slanted ceiling makes it feel tilted anyway, adding to how in control Bill is, subtly.

It also shows exactly when Stan made up his mind to be like "hell no I'm not helping you" lol

This was really fun! I'm sad I lost steam on it, but I'm hoping people can still enjoy this regardless ^^

Stan and ford in an ayslum more explanation below

What if Ford gets arrested while bill is in control and Instead of just putting him in jail they send him to a mental asylum

When ford is finally sedated he wakes up in a mental hospital he freaks out, knowing that this is what he fears the most, even though he just got the most sleep he has in weeks he needs to be alert

Ford can’t sleep and he need to get out of here, trying to act as normal as he can so they can see that he not crazy but normal guy who just can’t sleep because there’s a demon in his head….totally normal….

But he starts to realize that bill isn’t talking to him outside from his dreams and when he wakes up there’s no harm done to his body( later fines out the sedation and other drugs mess with bill possession of Ford)

But even if bill can’t really possess him while sleeping that still leaves his house vulnerable and a portal out in the open!!

Ford finally being able to be the common area as he been on good behavior sense he’s been here (2 days) he sees someone….someone he knows… but it can’t be…

There siting staring out the window is Stanley, his hair is longer and he looks so…tired, and strangely as ford walks ever so closer Stanley looks hardened and scary. But…this is Stan…his goofy twin, he’s not scared of Stan is he?

One of the other patients sees ford and scream, yelling about how “ THEYER TWO OF THEM DEVILS IN HEAR!!!” Which they are quickly taken away.

Ford embarrassed looks down on the ground but hears a quite almost whisper… “ford?”

Both brothers look at each other for who knows how long, so many questions, but I don’t think ether of them thought this is how they would see each other again after all these years

Some other things to note

Ford once he sees Stan try to say “Stanley?” but his mouth is quickly covered by Stan before he finishes, as Stan doesn’t want anyone to know his real name so everyone calls him lee or mute man the staff dose the same.

Stan communicates through writing and sign language thou he prefers to write for short responses and sign language for longer ones.

Stan came to the hospital after his Tijuana incident and is effectively mute so his first words sense coming there are “ford”

And he’s been there for 6 months and is mainly left alone after a couple “incidents” he is left alone as most people are scared of him

After the staff realize that there brothers they put them in the same room, ford and Stan are roommates once again

While ford is a bit mad at this situation he now has enough time to figure out how to beat bill and get some sleep as he is forced to stay for 6 months.

Also at some point ford will lose his eye from infection and gets a fake one

Also group therapy with these two are fun as while ford and Stan are both sympathetic to each others problems they still are snappy at times and while ford can yell he can’t quite beat Stan’s silent death stares lol
