Philipp Plein German fashion designer Philip plein is founder of the Phillip Plein International Group which has Philipp Plein, Plein Sport, and Billionaire Couture brands. Plein was law student while he began designing luxury dog beds. His designs were liked by his clients and experts in interior design industry and in 1998, company was founded in Munich, Germany. Plein is listed as the 275th richest individual or family in Switzerland for 2016 by the business magazine Bilanz. After dog beds, Plein's first collections were vintage military jackets, embroidered with Swarovski skulls which were sold at the Maison et Objet in Paris. In 2009 he collaborated with Mattel and presented the Philipp Plein Barbie doll on Barbie's 50th Birthday celebrations at the Nuremberg Toy Fair. Naomi Campbell, Iggy Azalea, Grace Jones, Theophilus London, Fergie, Jeremy Meeks, Floyd Mayweather, Mischa Barton, Lindsay Lohan, Snoop Dogg, Rita Ora are some of the biggest names who have worked with Plein.
