Aalto absolutely loves baked goods- probably a tie between chocolate cake and croissants. Thankfully, he gets to eat either of those a lot due to the baker in Nucifera being really kind (she accepts magic tricks as payment, sometimes).

It depends on how big those secrets are. When it comes to his past, he’ll share it, but when it regards the future or what he wants or feels, it takes way more trust. When it comes to his life, it usually takes others being able to trust him with their lives in return.

Some scars on his thighs were self-inflicted, while the ones scattering his legs are from exploring the desert and getting into more trouble than he could get out of as a kid. The biggest scar is from when a young Aalto had attempted to cast a spell that was too advanced for him, and it caused the amputation of his right arm from the elbow down.

you get doodle... current hairstyle is his favorite!! of course, he’d mix it up in putting it up and styling it a tiny bit different but this is the BIG ONES...

Aalto doesn’t overheat very easily, particularly bc he grew up in the desert, but he does get cold VERY easily.

Aalto LOVES storms, they’re his favorite. His magic relies on the power of the world around him, and he’s exceptional when it comes to water. He also loves the sound of thunder echoing around the earth.

Wrath. Aalto isn’t that easy to anger, but a lot of his motivation is based on how he’s been treated and what he wants to do to feel retribution.

Kadence is REALLY skilled in diplomacy and persuasion. One of the reasons he’s got so much happening with his kingdom as a prince is because he’s able to get it for himself! I’d also qualify his time management and general ability to Keep Shit In Check as skills. :)

Prince Kadence Conculium Nelumbo of the Kingdom of Nucifera... his parents were the king and queen!

He resorts to flight! It’s good to note though that with a physical danger that he has to run away from, he’ll try to grab anyone around him that needs to get away! In diplomatic situations, he’ll emotionally withdraw to make the most logical points to keep himself from feeling too affected by the pressure of ruling a kingdom.

40. Who do they trust most? Is that trust mutual?

Kadence trusts Aalto, his best friend most. They haven’t known each other for the longest time, but they’ve made leaps in terms of time spent together since then, to the point that Kadence opened his home to Aalto when he had nowhere to go. That trust is absolutely mutual, to the point that Aalto would risk anything for Kadence, and vice versa.

Royal, regal... This man dresses for the job he has, if being a prince is a job. He’d describe it as “professional” or “appropriate” for his position.

Kadence sleeps kind of like he’s trying to bundle up to hide away? He resorts to the fetal position a LOT, and tends to steal blankets.

Kadence loves animals! Unfortunately, he doesn’t have any of his own, but he’s strangely loved by the well-kept cats that wander around the castle walls and seem to somehow find their way inside.
