Jpeg Of The Week #1,302 - I just happened to be in the University Circle area on Monday, and decided to visit the Cleveland Museum of Art. (After working as a guard for a year and a half, at the tail end of Covid, I should have remembered that the museum is closed on Mondays.😊)

I made the best of the stop. A very beautiful place any time of year!

Jpeg Of The Week #1,298 - It's St. Malachi Week!!! - Top photos show part of the huge team of volunteers, that have helped make this race get to 46 years, at a packet pickup at Second Sole Lyndhurst, on Tuesday.

One of our long time volunteers, Cindy, in the top photo, just returned from Tokyo Marathon, with her award!

Jpeg Of The Week #1,296 - I am so lucky. I occasionally filled in for a friend of mine in high school, who delivered newspapers to this building. Fast forward 50 years. Annette and I have loved living here for over 6 years, and I have made a client of the property manager. 😃

Jpeg Of The Week #1,294 - Migrating birds on Lake Erie.

I rented a long lens to get close ups of birds on the lake, what I got surprised me. Huge flocks of ducks/birds, along with the regular "Lake Gulls"

While I had fun playing with this huge telephoto lens, I quickly saw how complicated it can be shooting with one.

About the birds...

"Red-breasted mergansers land on open water during migration. Lake Erie is the most important staging area in North America for these ducks as they head for wintering grounds on the coasts. The mergansers’ legs are set far back on their bodies, powering their dives. But that means they must get a running start on the water in order to get airborne; they are unable to take off from land."

Jpeg Of The Week #1,293- This image, top, has been selected as an award photo for the annual St. Malachi Church Run/Walk.

This old dog is still learning new tricks. Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) was used in a lot of my recent commercial work, and in all of the above Cleveland Skyline shots. I am not sure how most other photographers are presenting this kind of work to their clients, but I have been taking it one job at a time, and don't really talk about it unless asked, ha ha, "Don't ask don't tell" But I am okay sharing it with YOU! 😃

Photoshop has always been, what I would consider, A.I. as well, and I have been using it since it was officially released in 1990, 35 years!
