“Happy birthday Hani! Hope you like this.” Fool gave the other a decently sized box. Inside was everything he could think of that would be needed for an awesome day in for some serious rest and relaxation. “I also made you something with Kankan’s help!” Mini spoke up and showed a small little box. Inside was a keychain with music notes on it. It was clearly done mostly by a small child’s hands but there were parts that it was clear Kanji stepped in to fix.

“Oh!” 

It goes without saying that receiving gifts from the moment he was out of the house today is nothing uncommon for Hani, but the genuinely pleasant reaction never got old no matter how many years went by - especially when it happened to be given by a fellow Hanamura. There was just something about those unspoken connections between counterparts that led to them knowing what would be classified as ‘the perfect present’. The idol noticed that the first time around they all entertained an exchange between themselves, and it’s something he’s held close to his heart since then. Even when he hadn’t a chance this time around to put together his usual assortment of goodies for the other Yosukes. 

He’d have to make up for that someway, starting with these two~

“Thank you so, so, soooooo much!” Hani beamed, offering a single armed hug as he supported the gift box with his free hand. “And the same goes for you, Mini!” It was here that he actually took time to open the smaller box, unable to hold back a gleeful squee (it was adorable, could you blame him?!) while fishing out the keychain. One look was enough to show how much attentive care and heart, even from a young child, was placed into the handmade project, and the positive energy Hani could feel from it? Goodness!

“I’m definitely going to be wearing this around as a good luck charm, the pleasant vibes I’m getting from this is through the roof, so thank you! Sorry for not... being able to return the favor like last, but how about we head out for a celebratory ice cream run? My treat!”

“MOONSTONE” - ON SALE NOW! 

In light of the thirteenth anniversary of Y2K’s debut, Takura Productions announces the birthday release of Hani’s latest project, “Moonstone”, the accompanying album to his earlier single which dropped back in March ‘Aquamarine’. Taking inspiration from the more nostalgic, and dreamlike atmosphere and musical vibes of the 1980s, fans are given opportunity to sit back and drift off to a time and place long ago... where romance, melancholy, and pep crossed paths at a three-way street and kept on in the same direction. Hand in hand.

This was a passion project more than anything... one I’ve kept close to my heart since the idea first came to mind. It might seem a little outdated from what many of you are familiar with from me, and even Y2K, but I do hope you give these birthstones a chance!（‐＾▽＾‐）

Windy leaned into Hani’s hair ruffle slightly, content and happy. He, of course, couldn’t resist flirting.

“And besides. S’not like you don’t rock it.”

“Aww, you’re trying to get me all mushy tonight aren’t ya?”

The idol cooed softly as he took notice of just how comfortable Kaze was making himself against him. If he was being honest with himself, Yosuke couldn’t deny the uncanny resemblance Kaze had to an especially fluffy dog that belongs to a neighbor. Right down to how much they both seemed to like cuddling up on him. Again, there was nothing to complain about here, with how cozy things were right now he’d be a fool to try and nudge him away. “And I’ve been hearing that lately, too... I’m rocking adulthood proper~” He snorts after making such an announcement..

“Whatever that actually means~”

Oh dear, this really was a bad case this time. She hadn’t seen him this bad since…Christmas? New Year? Somewhere back in those snow filled months when all she did was curse the cold.

…How hard would she be smacked if she changed his contact in her phone to ‘Punderfully Pompous Prince’?

“It would appear so.” She briefly pressed her hand to his forehead, as if checking for a fever. “I hereby diagnose you with grandpa. We’ll start treatments immediately.”

“Gods, I knew it! I’m done for! it’s over!” Another agonized cry escaped him as he kicked his legs in a show of resistance to his... reality. Hani was a fool to think he could continue playing the part of that teenage heartthrob from yesteryear. Even if he continued to look the part in some regards, he definitely didn’t sound it these days. His demographic was changing... he was changing... no longer the bright eyed and bushy tailed rookie looking to make his debut. 

He was a veteran in every means of the word, and holy shit did it show.

“W-what treatments are there to cure grandpa-ism...?” He looked up at her with wide, hopeful eyes. “Are they kisses from an especially cute girlfriend of mine? And are hugs a bonus?”

Dropping his face in his hands, Hani let out an whine that only extended as he dragged his fingers down his face in an equally ridiculous manner. “I might as well start writing a list of the worst puns I can possibly think up... they’ll be calling me the ‘Punderfully Pompous Prince’ in due time, anyway.” He looked almost listless... forlorn, if not for the nonsense he was saying. 

“I really am done for, aren’t I...................?”
