Awaken is a free to read webcomic, that updates every Mon, Wed and Fri, and it’s currently on its 4th chapter. The webcomic follows the adventure of Piras, a capricious redhead, son of a famous hero, who dreams of becoming an elite Knight of the Empire of Nova. Unfortunately, strange events and new acquaintances lead him in the opposite direction… and he ends up becoming a terrorist instead!
Awaken is an action/mystery/psychological story, highly inspired by shonen motifs, specifically those linked to the classic hero’s personality, that Piras at first sight compliments, but as the story progresses, heavily challenges.
It’s a story about superpowers, monsters, dystopian universes, conspiracies, and characters that hide too much. If you’re in for a shonen deconstruction, this is the story for you! ☆ Read Awaken here ☆
