Chip isn't normal about food. He's got some sort of eating disorder. It drives him crazy because he Has food now, it's on the ship and he can eat it and they're not going to run out. But he skips meals all the same because the guilt of it makes his stomach twist. He's not worthy of much, and he wasn't worthy of eating regularly for a long time. (Price is like half of the reason he feels guilty about it, they went through some really rough times, and well, Price as the older one needed to eat so he could get money for them, right? Chip would have to wait till they had more)

Gillion was so touch starved when he first was found by Chip and Jay that he thought humans were like really dry and that's why he couldn't stop thinking about how chips hand felt pulling him out of the water. For the first few weeks he assumed humans just felt weird (he didnt connect it to when it was longer breaks between Edy's visits and he'd cringe under her hug at the start of the visit, but melt into them at the end)

Kians thing with Rand’s mom is weird. I think as a kid he got a positive maternal figure in his life for the first time ever after years of neglectful parents and thought it was true love because he was a kid and didn’t understand that stuff. Instead of reciprocating Donna was like “oh that’s so sweet of you but I’m taken sorry” as you would normally react to a little kid saying they have a “crush” on you

Rolan and Rand met at like age 4 because their moms held those play dates with all the cul de sac kids at eachothers houses. Meanwhile they met Kian at Camp Galloway (I have a lot of thoughts about Kian at camp) and Rand HATED him for a bit before they suddenly because friends as kids do. They were inseparable ever since.

Barcode is a bug. Soon after Rachel vanished he followed her scent into the bayou and got swapped. He isn’t aggressive or anything because the bugs went to hard into replicating his former state like their human hosts. He’s just a dog that does some creepy shit every once in a while like go “BLEUGGHH” and cough up some blood and viscera tail wagging. He’s also immortal

i think the walls of williams bedroom in his deadwood house were plastered with posters and his shelves were full of figurines and his walls had been painted blue since he was a toddler and his parents never had time to repaint it so it just stayed blue. yeah👍
