WHEN THEY HAVE A CRUSH ON YOU

word count: way longer than it should have been i got carried away omg warnings: light swearing genre: fluff pairing / group: stray kids req from @lunalixie — hmmm this is my first ever request, i don’t really know how to use tumblr all that much 😅 i think a cute one to start with would be the things that skz do when they have a crush on you! whether that be to show you that they like you, how they get when they’re nervous, etc :) if you don’t want to it’s okay!😚 i just think this will be a good start and it’s cute imo 😏 thank u again, and take ur time :) author's note: thank you so much for giving me my first request ! i think i kinda went overboard because i wanted it to be at least half decent but it ended up kinda bad i hope this is ok !! BANG CHAN

his love language is attentiveness!!

to start off, when he likes you, he's 100% nervous laughs. he's a giggler, no way around it

whenever you two would meet, a shy chuckle would immediately bubble up his throat as soon as you met eyes, a sweet smile spreading across his features as he beckons for you to come closer

not just that, but just being around you sets his ears on FIRE

you would often find yourself teasing him about it, but he'd never admit the reason they're so red is because you're just so adorable he wants to squish you (he might mumble it though)

that aside, he would probably be extra affectionate with you, hugging you and cuddling you close whenever and wherever he's allowed (as long as you're comfy, of course!)

another thing to add to the list of things he'd never tell you: you seem to fit perfectly in his arms, and no matter what he does, he can't stop thinking of how you feel in them!!!! :(((

and oh my GOD. don't get me started on how he would text you

absolutely jumps at the sound of your notification and is quick to answer, even if he's busy bc he can't wait to know what you're up to (he's a little cheeseball in love)

the members probably catch this man smiling from ear to ear at a photo you sent him of your failed attempt at a grilled cheese sandwich

but aside from all the soft and squishy stuff !!! i feel like he'd be really attentive of you and how you're doing

he knows your signs and, to put it simply, knows you better than you know yourself

he also seems like the type to semi-scold you when you're doing something you shouldn't / something unhealthy!!

he might sound harsh at times (the more he loves the more attentive he becomes) but you should always know it's because he cares about you (and loves you a whole lot!!)

he doesn't overstep boundaries and is very respectful of you overall! i think he represents pure love to me.. attentive of you, touchy with you (if you're comfy!), and just really warm words and affirmations!

but of course you make fun of him too so you're not innocent either

together you guys are like .. best friends who don't know how to take a next step yk?

both of you are clueless bcs you don't really show your affection towards one another

i feel like minho would be more lowkey abt it, kind of just cradling his feelings and getting a feel of them before trying to set them free

at first i think he would be like that, anyway?

unsure and uncertain, scared of breaking what you two already have

or maybe afraid of being mocked for how he felt about you? he knew you weren't anything like that, but he couldn't help it since you two were always bickering back and forth (in your own special, affectionate way, though)

but once he accepts how he feels, expect this guy to be an ULTIMATE tease

absolutely the kind to steal your stuff and hold it over your head so you can't grab it just so you two can get a little touchy ( cliche but when the shoe fits … )

wouldn't be afraid to ask you if you're into anyone since you two are close and he knows practically everything there is to know about you

he's not a super fan of skinship but with you, hugs and even slight brushes of your fingers against his make his mind go coocoo for cocoa puffs

ohhh my godddd i love seo changbin .

he would absolutely get cocky with you at some point down the line

would flirt with you or act cutely openly, but if you in any way try to flirt back or playfully tease him in the slightest

absolutely red in the face and inwardly begging for his heart to calm so he can deliver his next quip

the kind to stay by your side all the time whether it be to listen to you rant for hours on end, talk to you for hours on end, or cuddle up with you for hours on end

you would find him talking on the phone with you for forever

if you and changbin were a cliche scene, it would be the one where the protagonist is on the phone and can't fall asleep so their partner stays on the phone with them all night while they get some rest

changbin would be so caring and attentive of you, he makes such an amazing listener and is always there for you when you need him — just as you are with him

he's the embodiment of comfortable silences, soothing circles, and casual midnight snacks :(

you would often find yourselves texting one another late into the night, the milky moonlight draining through your window sills

he would talk about any and everything with you — just as you would with him

no secrets were kept between you two

except for one

which was the fact that he liked you

which is what makes it so hard for him to hide that he's hiding something

hyunjin is obvious

and honestly, two can play at that game, so you are too

but you're also both oblivious..

in the end the members would try everything in their power to bring you two together

because oh my god how can two people in love be so stupid

anyways. when i say hyunjin is obvious with you, i mean obvious

occasionally, you'll catch his fleeting gaze while you're watching a movie together or admiring something

he'd quickly pretend he was looking at a speck on the ceiling or a bug in your hair but everyone knows he was looking at you (except you apparently)

he would initiate skinship with you, whether it be thru constantly comparing hand sizes and intertwining your fingers playfully while he laughs in that super cute way :((( or thru cuddling up next to you whenever you two watch a movie together during your midnight snack-outs

absolutely loves your warmth, your smile, and your laugh

your smile is infectious and he's constantly the victim

you'll always see him smiling when he's with you except for whenever you're feeling down

he matches your energy all the time and honestly that's what makes him so fun to be around

omg he'd also make excuses as to why he should stay with you longer whenever you two hang out one on one

i can see him building pillow forts with you and tickling you until you can't breathe :(

even tho you're a sweaty mess with your hair splayed haphazardly across the sheets, he still looks at you like you're his world :(

you two would be the biggest mess together, playing childish bets and making shitty jokes that make you both double over in laughter bc your guys' senses of humor mesh so well

messing around late into the night, balancing on white lines on street pavement while you shove at each other (anyone who falls the line does whatever the other wants)

whenever you lose, he either tells you to do something rly stupid like dress up as a banana for christmas at the dorms or something trivial like give him a hug or a massage after a long day (which you always end up doing at the end of the day regardless)

would get on his knees and wail if you don't give him his daily hug when you join the boys at the dorm

also, when it comes to shutting jisung up, skz believes you're their best bet

whenever you're around, you and jisung talk up a storm but you're also the one that knows how to get him to drop a notch

just be intimate with him

literally just give him a hug or play with his fingers and he's all yours

you two are textbook besties with an incredibly large dose of touchy

it isn't obvious that jisung likes you because he tends to act a certain way around just about everyone he cares about

cue jisung trying to kiss all his members

but the one thing that knocks the hat off the hanger is how little he tries these things with you

jisung could be the most cocky, overconfident, flirty young man out there and he wouldn't pull a single thing on you because he worries about what you might think and what might happen between you two even if it's just a "harmless joke" (or so he wants you to think)

to put it simply, rather than doing more than one might expect, you should expect jisung to do less

he loves getting touchy with you, don't get him wrong

it's just that he wants to be careful with you and protect whatever it is you two have

i can see him cuddling up to you when you've had a bad day and you're ranting for who knows how long and you're just propped up against his chest flailing your arms while you speak and listen to his heartbeat :(

he's so caring and respectful of you :( would definitely buy things that remind him of you until your room is filled with little knick knacks felix found on his way home to the dorms

would smile so brightly whenever he so much as sees you :((

honestly people would always mistake you as a couple whenever you're seen together bc of how touchy and lovey dovey you two are

you two wouldn't deny it (bc you're 2 ppl that are way too in love)

but felix would feel shy, sheepishly rubbing his neck and releasing tight chuckle

probably flicking his eyes between the asker to you

he'd be happy you didn't deny it and feel his confidence soar

the most important thing to you guys is quality time spent together

you could be doing anything.. from playing games together, arts and crafts, baking and cooking, to soo much more

honestly the possibilities are endless

but in everything you do, felix makes sure you're always comfortable, smiling, and genuinely enjoying whatever it is

he's touchy with you, but not to the point it's excessive or uncomfy for you

he'll make sure to give you space when he knows you need it and will constantly let you know that he's there for you whenever you need him

overall he'd just care about you and genuinely love you so much :( he's a little cuddle bug that needs his cuddle partner and you're the perfect one for him

KIM SEUNGMIN

his love language is teasing you and getting sooo shy after

you would find him making fun of you for forgetting something and you would snap back in your sassy way

he just looks away and scoffs but his cheeks are red bc that was hot bro

basically he's head over heels for you and everything you do makes his skin heat up and his mind go in a tizzy :-)

obv you use this to your advantage but that doesn't mean you don't become a mess every time he tries something on you too

yeah.. you two are such teases

also, he'd definitely be the kind to scold you whenever you're doing something unhealthy or something you shouldn't be doing (similar to chan)

i feel like he would be worlds more gentle about it if he found you genuinely worrying over his words though

"i'm sorry seungmin, i lost it.. the only thing i had at home was this :("

"stupid.. it's not like it matters, anyway. this is fine, we could work with this. don't get sad, i'm warning you,"

acts like your being sad (slightly) annoys him but in reality it's bc he's so worried about you

but regardless, he's so caring of you and would absolutely be there for you whenever you are sad

he might just be a little hesitant at first but he's such a good listener

whenever you guys get into deep talks you definitely bring out the more serious side of him

don't get me wrong, he's super caring!!

but he'd also do things for you without your knowledge

so maybe you don't notice?

but he's so attentive of you and how you're doing but he wouldn't dare tell you how much he cares upfront unless it's completely necessary

for example whenever you doubt yourself or are in a big fallout

he would remind you that you've always got him and he's not going away just because you think you're incapable or idiotic

he'll make sure to call you stupid for thinking that but also add on that you're his idiot so no one else can call you idiot but him :-)

overall he's in a sort of playful, youthful kind of love with you, and even if he wants to take it slow for now, there'll be a point where he can't hold back his feelings anymore

rather than being scared of telling you, he wants his feelings to build and be sure of how he feels so he won't hurt you if he's been reading himself wrong

but yeah .. this man is 100% in love with you and would run to you at the drop of a dime

YANG JEONGIN

his love language is exchanging shy laughs and bright smiles :(

just making you laugh is enough for him

really he's such a soft cheese ball with you it's like that kind of textbook romance where the elderly coo "ahh, young love" whenever they see you together

you two are always seen laughing and smiling with each other

it's no surprise your cheekbones ache after he walks you to your house and you bid your farewells for the night

after hanging out with you, when he goes back to the dorms, he usually needs a little time to himself (unless it's you texting him)

you'd think he's sleeping bc you two have been walking all day but he's probably behind his dorm room door ranting about how cute you were today into his pillow

he thinks it's death itself if his members know how he feels about you

so he tries to tone it down a notch whenever you two are together in front of them

but he does a terrible job at it and everyone knows already so

they're constantly cooing at him and pestering him about when he plans to ask you out

"seriously guys just leave me alone!!"

he's just so effortlessly in love with you and everything you do sets off a swarm of butterflies in his stomach

he's so gentle with you and rarely raises his voice when you two are together (unless you guys are playfully fighting or debating about something)

honestly his members would be pestering him about why he isn't soft like that to them too (they're his superfans after all)

whenever you come over he'd just swat them away and veer you over to his room where you two can get some privacy from the mess that is 7 other men who are overly involved in your guys' relationship

overall you two are too cute for your own good and the members are constantly melting from the warmth and fluffy-ness you two exude

just get together already or they'll give you guys the nudge you need and you never know what that nudge'll be
